I was looking for a quiet place on the lake and it was beautiful. It was quiet and very clean and the owners were very attentive. Great place, highly recommend.

This property is inviting and complete with most of the amenities of home. The deer roam freely around the property. Keep in mind this is a cinder block structure that was built in the 1960's, so keep this in mind as to not build up unrealistic expectations. My only gripe is that the stone stairs that lead to the lake in the garden area, was full of driftwood that impeded our ability to fish. They do have a community fishing pier that's open 24/7. We enjoyed our stay overall.

Beautiful no frills Lake Lodging

This was an amazing place to stay. The room was no frills but extremely clean and comfortable with everything needed for stay on lake. The grounds were beautiful and everything needed for lake fun and fishing or simply soaking up the view. The fishing peer was well set up from catching, cleaning and cooking. Enjoyed the heard of deer around the grounds.

Out family has stayed here a few times evey time is always nice.As soon as u enter the property you know its a safe quiet and chill vibe.Deers roam the property early in the a.m and at night its nice to see them so close. Fishing dock is short walking distance from ur comfy rooms. Great AC, smart tvs,great water pressure. Property manager answers ur messages pretty quickly and it just nice overall 👌

Love this spot with the great views of the lake. Great for exploration with the different state parks near by. Tons of deer to see. Wish the fish were there but can only do so much on land without live bait from local shops.

Beautiful location on Lake Buchanan. We saw spectacular sunsets from our room, which had a back door to enjoy the lakefront. The room was very comfortable with a well stocked kitchenette - sink, full size fridge, microwave, toaster oven, regular coffee maker, Keurig coffee pod machine, stovetop burners, and even a cute s’more kit in the fridge to use with the patio grill. The property had a lovely covered dock with porch swings to enjoy the lake and a covered picnic table area, as well as a swimming dock and boat loading area. We were sad to leave.

Safe quiet, clean Beautiful area to enjoy every morning and every evening. I enjoyed my stay there. I’m looking forward to coming back and maybe trying the tiny house that’s on the property. This is my second visit to Pained Sky Inn on Lake Buchanan. The location is perfect for my Kayaks. The views and sunsets are amazing here. Easy contactless check-in and great communication via text. The grounds are well kept, and I like that it’s gated with code only access.
