La porte ne se barrait pas (pas de loquet) Mal insonorisé. Les murs avaient pris l’humidité. Le bain ést surélevé, mon conjoint touchait presque le plafond. Pas de réception. On reçoit le no de notre chambre ainsi que le code pour accéder à notre chambre par texto. C’est assez spécial. Les draps étaient propres mais le matelas était mou .

Not one I would recommend
I had been travelling all day with my friend. We booked this place as it was handy the motorway. On arrival I saw it was not the room I received a confirmation on plus it was dirty and the non smoking room I booked reeked of stale smoke. Also, the tub had mould around it. I called the owner and requested the room we booked or at least something clean enough to sleep in. He had nothing and I said I couldn’t stay in the room as we booked a double, non smoking. He said he had no other rooms. The bigger problem is that I was charged when I specifically booked the option to pay when booking out. Plus I was charged for a damage deposit without knowing anything about this as it did not state that anywhere on Motel Express’ website. The surrounding area wasn’t safe. The donut shop basically in the car park of the motel had a gang of boys hanging out and were up to no good so didn’t feel our car would be safe there. It’s not a place Hotels.com should have as one of their listings. I am still awaiting the money Motel Express took out of my account without authorization. I’m very disappointed as I feel Hotels.com should be trying to help with this situation as when one books on their site and leave their credit card number only for confirmation and the establishment goes ahead and uses it without authorization I don’t think I should have to deal with this on my own. I have used Hotels.com for all my bookings but perhaps it’s time for a rethink.
