This apartment is good value for money! Super clean and felt quite safe. However, please note this apartment is on a hill so be prepared to do 10 minutes vertically down to get to the beach. There is a lot of stairs! Also, bus comes once an hour so not great to get to the old town. Overall, would recommend to a friend!

Great mattress and pillows. Very small apartment, tiny bathroom, slippery tiny shower, stairs to apartment difficult for elderly. Lots of steps to get to pedestrian area or bus. Ample breakfast.

Abbiamo soggiornato una sola notte.La struttura non è niente di speciale, le foto non rispecchiano la realtà dell'alloggio che comunque è gradevole. Il costo lievita per la presenza di 20€ di pulizie che non erano state menzionate se non alla fine del processo di prenotazione. Per ammortizzare il costo delle pulizie occorre stare più giorni. La sera del nostro arrivo abbiamo fatto la doccia fredda, per un problema risolto il giorno dopo. CI hanno accolto i proprietari della casa, che sono stati cordiali e disponibili.

gut ausgestattetes Apartement relativ hoch am Hang, aber die Benutzung des Lifts vom Hotel Kompas macht eden Weg zum Meer einfacher. Herauszuheben ist die Bereitschaft, mich nach Mitternacht (Flug hatte 9 h Verspätung) zu erwarten und die Koffer den Hang hoch zu tragen!!!

Acceptable; limited amenities, lots of walking

Stayed 3 nights. Photo on booking website is view across bay. About 200 stair steps up from Lapad Promenade; many attractive restaurants and sea views. Limited parking; walked/bussed everywhere. Bus stop to walled city 15 minutes walk. Check-in: No apartment signage, just address. Once there, we phoned from street, and waited a while for someone to come; felt uncertain until checked in. Apartment bright & clean, large balcony/patio, great view. Wifi spotty; dropped several times, slow to come back, always came back eventually. This was our first apartment stay; we didn't understand variability of "house rules". When time to shower, were surprised to find empty built-in soap dispenser. Called manager; he explained this is not a hotel, but an apartment; guests are expected to provide their own supplies. But that seemed odd, as towels (one set/person for stay, no changing), iron/board, dishes, silverware, and dish soap were provided. Why not shower soap? (He soon came back with soap bottle.) We also asked for/received a bed top sheet to fit. We have since learned it's common in Balkan countries to have one twin-sized sheet/blanket per person provided, each sized for half the bed, even in double-/queen-/king-sized bed. Experience has now taught us that for apartments, you must realize there is greater variability in amenities and services provided than hotels; also managers may or may not be as available as in hotel. Carefully read descriptions of any place you stay.

Il ne correspondait pas du tout au photos du site Pour y acceder il fallait monter 74 marches à environ 70° Séniors à PROSCRIRE !! Aucune communication possible car personnes ne parlait le Français La situation pourrait être belle, hormis que cette maison (comme beaucoup dans le quartier de LAPAD) est construite sur le haujt de la colline Et donc hormis les 74 marches de l'acces à l'appartemnet, il faut compter encore 250 marches pour acceder rapidement à cette location, on peut le faire également à pieds en suivant la route goudronnée ......

great place to stay

Would recommend a stay in the room we were in, that was decorated in a blue seaside theme, it was very clean, with large comfy bed and a kitchenette. The breakfast that was delivered each morning was very good and included fresh bread, meat, cheese, jam, fruit, snack, tea/coffee and milk and these were varied each day. Has a very large patio to sit on, I would have liked a sun lounger, so maybe take an air bed There are a lot of steps to the main Lapad resort, but we were happy with the exercise. Very helpful service, from Zorban, who we met at agency near Dubrovnik old town, who then drove us to the apartment on our arrival. He gave us some restaurant tips, which we used and were very good, restaurant Lapad and Orsan.

Unzumutbare Pension

Stimmte überhaupt nicht mit Beschreibung von Expedia überein. Das zweite Zimmer War ein Apartment das wir mit zwei fremden Familien teilen sollten ist unzumutbar. Nach telefonischer Kontaktaufnahme mit Expedia wo wir die Miesstände erklären versuchten wurde uns überhaupt nicht weitergeholfen.Endergebnis Expedia ist nicht weiter zu empfehlen.

Super sød vært! Da vi Ankom var der i gang med at blive bygget et nyt hus, som blokerede udsigten, så i stedet havde han sørget for udendørs jacuzzi, som trøst. Familieejet og meget venlige og imødekommende og super hjælpsomme. Ville bestemt anbefale det til andre.

Parisängyssä yksi peittoviritelmä, eli lakana plus ns. päiväpeitto. Terassi oli iso. Yöllä tuli kylmä. Jos haluaa pitää ovea auki niin valoa tulee samalla, koska valoverhojen sijaan ovissa on säädettävät raot.

Scenic view

We got in late because of the airlines. Grandma was there, felt sorry for us because we were stressed and gave us some beer to try and help unwind us. Now that's being friendly and caring. Can't say enough about the family. Good people. Room was spacious and comfortable. But if you can't climb stairs, don't book this. Heck of a climb up. But is close to the promenade and buses. Only 15 minutes by bus to the old town. If I was younger, I would stay here again. Our room had a beautiful scenic view.
