The deluxe room was very spacious with stand in shower along with a bath tub. The wifi was not working in the higher rooms. Nonetheless the staff had courtesy taxi to nearby spots.

The ocean was beautifully visible. We didn't use the pool. The cleaning service was almost non-existent, they were unable to get the WiFi working for the last two days, and for breakfast they offered us a bowl of fresh fruit, two eggs, toast, and bacon, which they charged us for at the end because it wasn't part of the continental breakfast. We constantly had to push them to do things and remind them! The furnishings were quite worn out. My rating – I do not recommend it.

One building had sink stuff all over the porch for remodel and have been like that for months per staff. The food was atrocious-had sponge hairs in our food. Too much mold. At 8am they started a power washing under our room and we were the only two people in the whole resort. Poor cellular coverage. Staff was very friendly and and tried hard.!!! Needs help. 1/2026

The property itself is beautiful the room was very nice and clean. I had an issue with ants in my bed which doesnt speak to the cleanliness of the room the staff us excellent. The hotel is a little remote. They dont gave readily available information in regards to tours and things to do. And it advertises that its on a beach and isnt even within walking distance.

The hotel has seen better days and needs remodelling and updating. Lighting in passageway and rooms either non existent or very dim. Restaurant offering very limited as with the bar. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food albeit limited was very flavourful. The gardens were beautiful and well kept with a variety of plants & flowers. The shower was huge with great water pressure. The location was close to where we needed to be otherwise would probably not have been my choice

This hotel has probably been very nice when it was newly built, but I'm sorry to say that it only feels very old now. The view is fantastic, and the staff is nice and friendly, but that is about it. On the Choice Hotels webpage, it says: "Convenient to restaurants and beaches". I don't know where there are any other restaurants than the hotel restaurant? And to be honest, the hotel restaurant is not good at all. The food is very simple and the restaurant is not charming at all. It could be fantastic if it was facing the view of the ocean, but it just feels dark and old. So I'm very sorry to say, that I will not be coming back to this hotel.

The staff were great, very friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. However, the hotel itself needs some major improvements, especially the room. The AC was leaking, leaving a puddle of water on the floor, and there weren’t enough towels to soak it up. The couch and chairs were very worn out, when you sit down, you sink right into them, and the tables and counters were peeling at the bottom. There were several other small issues that could use attention as well. Overall, it’s a very beautiful hotel with so much potential, and we still enjoyed our stay thanks to the wonderful staff.

Best Resort in the Area by far!!!!

My wife and I stayed from 3 Jan thru 9 Jan 2011. The staff was really nice 24/7. The food was great and the rooms are one step away from the beach. The resort was the perfect size to go to a pool or even a bar. This is the best brrezes resort on the island if you want to party or even relax.

Horrible Experience – Never Again Our stay was a disaster from start to finish. The internet didn’t work at all. The first room we were given smelled strongly of human waste. The second room was no better—my sister got locked inside the bathroom, and staff had to kick down the door to free her. The food options were extremely limited, tasted terrible, and made my entire family sick with food poisoning. When we raised these issues, the owner offered us extra time at the property as compensation—absolutely not, given everything we went through. This place is unsafe, unsanitary, and completely unprofessional. I would not recommend it to anyone.

staff was friendly in helping me to get a taxi for the morning and checkin me in. After arrival to my room I was greeted by broken toilet and shower. Since I was only staying for one night and had an early flight I didn't even bother to try to switch rooms. Shower tap could not be turned on, no light in corridor from door to bed. Rooms incomplete: no toiletries, one room no desk. Floor in hallway moved as we walked on it. In the bar: Sorry, no cola, no tonic, one orange juice, we have water, beer and liquor. Pool in picture seems to be taken with widescreen camera, but in reality is three small basins. The hotel advertises as luxurious but looks like faded glory. We saw only two other guests and therefore decided to eat somewhere else instead of trying the kitchen.

No help with luggage yet there is a 364 ft incline and 33 stairs. Dinner only begins at 7 and the food took 1 hr and 14 min to arrive to our table. In order to pay for dinner if you're using a card, you have to go back to the front desk, have them run your card, then take the credit card receipt back. 1 light in the entire room and if you had it on, the balcony light also came on which was a disturbance when others turned their lights on. Locked out on balcony b/c the lock was so gunked so the key wouldn't go in. Thankfully my colleague shared a balcony and could come get me off the balcony. Cockroaches came out of the drain in the busted bathtub. The pool was green like a pond.

the property is nothing like the pictures. it was very unkept and smelt really moldy. Even the restroom at the reception area was below par for a hotel. To get the rooms, the tiles in the hall are very slippery and sunked in ...be careful when walking down the steps as well. In our room the toilet and the jacuzzi were not working. It was so bad i had to go all the way back to reception to request a room change.The second room smelt really moldy, we tried to air it out but here's where it went wrong. The reception stated that the security guard will bring us a fan to air out the new room, but on whatsapp she stated that i needed to come and collect ....its a good distance from the room. i was turned off by the atmosphere and lack of concern by the staff. I went to check out the same day (this was less than an hour after checking in) and the reception did not even have the courtesy to check me out and said that i should leave to the key with the grounds man. As we were loading the car i could hear the staff mockingly shouting "BYE!" i was really hurt. The pool was so dirty and unkept. I have reached out to Expedia for a refund and i am still unable to get any satisfaction from this ordeal. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO STAY HERE ESPECIAL BECAUSE OF THE MOLDY SMELL, BROKEN FACILITIES AND EXTREMELY UNHOSPITABLE STAFF. I DID NOT STICK AROUND FOR THE WORST

This is in a quiet location with breathtaking views of land and sea. Great customer service from the staff - warm, friendly and accommodating. It’s hilly so more suited for those who are mobile and have little to no problem around accessibility. Having said that there are ramps to most areas. The food is very tasty. I am a vegan so ensure they know in advance as Dominica does but factor in vegans very well! However, the catering did accommodate my diet from the first meal enjoyed to the last. I did not get to enjoy the pool due to weather (thunder and lightening) but looked very inviting. The hotel was close to Paradise Valley which was where I was attending an event for a couple of days but also is a great tourist attraction to visit.
