Beautiful location. Close to town, bar pool dining area is very nice. Great food and drinks. Amazing view. Owners are great people!

Typical basic Greek accommodation. Very clean and included air-con. Some of the accommodation is a bit of a walk away from the pool area and the complex is a bit of a slog up a long hill from the main strip in Lassi. We had car so not a problem and noticed quite a few people getting taxis up to it rathervthan walk. Pool area good with plenty of sunbeds available and not too busy, mainly families and couples. Only real downside was the pool bar prices; 7 euros a beer is 50-60% more than the all the tavernas and other poolside bars that we visited during our stay.

Nice resort and good base for exploring the island

Its a good base in Lassie to explore the Island from if you hire a car. Fiskardo and Assos are a must see. The rooms are basic but clean. The pool area and views are beautiful and the bar offers a range of food options. The beach and main strip is just a walk away but down a very steep hill so not ideal for those who have mobility issues or struggle with steep hill coming back up to resort. Taxi's charge between 7-10 euros for the 2 minute drive up the hill. I have stayed here 3 times over the space of about 30 yrs but find the hill too much in the heat this time. Argostoli the capital of the island is only a 5 min taxi ride or 30 min walk away, buses from bottom of the hill. It is a nice resort and I would recommend it.

Overall nice relaxing place to stay , the rooms are very basic but was clean and the bed was comfy. The pool area is stunning but there is not much around you have to walk down a long steep hill just for a shop so if you want to be close to shops bars ect this wouldnt be a great place to stay especially if you dont like walking in the heat! The staff were friendly and food and drinks were nice but very limited and basic. I would stay here again as the view was amazing and felt very relaxed, i went without my children and i wouldnt come back with them it didnt feel to be very child friendly , no snacks , play pools , entertainment ect

Awesome pool and pool Bar. Great cocktails a the bar. Was difficult to find if your driving at night. Rooms are super clean and big. Bathroom is small and tiny shower and sink but ok. Im not fussy on this kinda stuff. Being clean is most important and it was.

Apartments were traditional basic Greek, as we expected. But we’re clean and perfectly adequate for what we wanted. The pool and loungers were wonderful - a real key attraction. Not too busy and easily got a longer even in the middle of August. At the pool bar, the food and service was great. Only minor comments are that the bar could be pricey - certainly not somewhere you would want to purchase from all day. But we knew this from other reviews. Also, it is up a big hill. But it is manageable if you are of reasonable fitness, but you wouldn’t want to do it multiple times a day, particularly with kids. So just plan for it!! Taxis were about 7 euros. All in all a wonderful holiday! Thanks!

10/10 Exceptional

I really liked this place, don't believe the negative reviews. Yes it's on a hill, therefore you get stunning views. If you are fit, it's no problem, especially at night it's an easy walk down to the restaurants on the main strip in Lassi. The pool area is stunning with very comfortable loungers. The water is a bit cold, but welcome on a hot day. The pool bar is very expensive compared to everywhere else. The one bedroom apartment was spotlessly clean and spacious with a comfortable bed. Chickens would come to the balcony in the morning, the kids loved feeding them. The air con worked well. Three minor things wrong with the room, fridge handle broken, insect screen in our bedroom broken, no hand towel holder in the bathroom. None of this affected the enjoyment of our stay. We only payed £50 per night so weren't expecting much and were pleasantly surprised

The apartment were good and the pool excellent. However, the location requires to you either get taxi or rent a car, unless you like hiking.

Happy stay with two young children.

Beautiful pool, lovely overall complex, very helpful and friendly staff. The standard of the apartment was what we’ve come to expect of self catering in Greece - basic but clean and with everything we needed. We would happily return to stay again.

Good location… Car to have is preferable. One thing that’s missing is a washing machine or a laundry room.

We had an amazing time at Liberatos Village. The food was excellent, the staff were very helpful and polite. The pool is just right, the atmosphere relaxing and overall an amazing stay. We rented two rooms, with sea views, they are simple but large and clean with balconies. The location is at the top of the hill, amazing views but a steep walk up. We opted to walk up and down the hill mostly, we also tried hiring scooters, which was fun. 10/10 would stay here again.

Highly recommended

Very relaxed family stay at Liberatos Village. Comfy and clean apartments and very friendly staff. There is a great outdoor pool with plenty of loungers and an excellent value poolside bar that also serves lunches and evening meals. Argostoli and the airport are both a very short taxi ride away. You can walk down the hill to plenty of shops and tavernas as well as the nearby beaches. Amazing views from the pool. Would happily come back again.

Excellent for the price

All the team were very friendly and made me fee welcome. The food was cooked to order, reasonably priced too. Views amazing. It is half way up a hill but don't let that put you off as the walk back up isn't that bad, and there are always taxis right at the bottom if needed. Excellent location to walk to a variety of beaches too. And walkable to the harbour to see the Turtles. That said a took a tax there which 8euros and then enjoyed the walk back. Will be booking to go again in the spring.

1st time in Kefalonia

Look awhile to get used to setting for kettle. Bathroom floor got wet when in shower as curtain not long enough. Lovely pool area and bar where could get breakfast and snacks. Staff friendly and lovely view of lassi. Did the walk up and down twice a day. Just need to take your time.

Family holiday with a number of adults and children 15 in total staying across 5 apartments. Pool excellent few minutes next door another apartment with good facilicites to utilise. More breakfast options and serving presecco at this bar would make more enjoyable. Staff are quite young and whilst friendly enough employing more family friendly staff members rather than younger staff who appear often more interested in their mobile phones or one another than customwr experince would be welcome enhancement.

4/10 Fair

My family and I stayed at Liberatos Village in August, 2025. We will not return. Pros: *The room was clean. *The food was good. We ate breakfast and lunch at the pool bar a few times. No complaints. *The air conditioner worked well. *All staff we encountered were very kind and professional. *The pool/bar area is very nice and well-kept. Cons: *Upon arrival we were given a room...we walked very far up a long hill to get to our room; so far from the pool/bar area it might as well not even existed. Very inconvenient. *The room, although clean, was in disrepair. Exposed pipes poked from the floor. Cracked formica on the sides of the countertops exposed the wood beneath. Cabinets in kitchenette were missing knobs. *No paper towels were provided. *No hair dryer in room. *The toilet seat kept coming off. *The toilet would run without stopping after flushing, but only sometimes. Very annoying in the middle of the night. *The bathroom was terrible. There was only one tiny shelf up mounted on the wall in the corner. We had no space to put our things down. Three people have a lot of bathroom things, and to have no space to put anything is frustrating to say the least. *The room had sliding doors to a balcony, but the doors would not lock. We had to shut the shutters at night. *No iron in room. *Ants everywhere. On the floor, and especially on the counter. Overall, caveat emptor: the web photos are misleading. Not worth the price. I'd write more but I hit the character limit.
No space in bathroom.
Zoom in to see ants.
More ants on sink.
