We needed to make a last minute reservation and saw while reserving the room on Hotels.com that if we needed to cancel for any reason that we would be charged for the first night. The hotel and hotels.com wouldn’t uphold this policy and we needed to pay for whole stay. Very disappointed in both hotel and hotels.com the hole

3泊しました。初回、バスシンクにお湯をためようとしたら、前の宿泊者の長い髪の毛が7，8本バスシンク内に落ちていました。第2夜からはバスシンクも清掃しているように思いました。朝食バイキングにも使用されるカジュアルレストランですが、朝食時は料理も豊富で味もまぁまぁなんですが、夜に行くと料理も4，5種類しかなく、アルコール類も前近代的なメニューです。それなのに表示価格はホテル価格です。

Good location

Overall it is a nice place with convenient access to major transportations. The hotel is quite old in particular with in unit bathroom sink drainage that I need to pull out the knob to let water flow down. This is something needs to be looked into. Breakfast buffet is fine. We stayed for just one night just for next day activity planned in the area and location is good, with free parking included.

What is going on?a VUP crown plaza branch?

Empty in the mini bar. Strange smell on the carpet throughout the hotel. Seems never changed them since my last stay. Offered complimentary drink as per club policy but when I tried to redeem it,the floor one restaurant seemed never prepared for that, (without any ready clean cup) except carbonates cans to offer.the female responsibility at the restaurant entry desk stopped to me really rude when I tried to grab a chair to sit down, they wouldn't even treated a beggar like that.very sad.

A kind Japanese speaking front office staff

Most of hotel staff did not understand English at all. Concierge also did not understand English. A great help was provided from a staff, Lisa who speaks very good Japanese. Greatly appreciated for her help in my delivery parcel to China factory. There are many other Japanese guests at the hotel. She is providing great cpncenience to them, too.

Nice stay without any complications

In all over the hotel, their staff and all around was nice. Just the air conditioning system doesn't control the temperature, so it can happen it gets really cold over night. The gym requires an overhaul as the room is too sall and the equipment too less and old.

Western Hotel, good location for our needs.

Everything at the hotel was nice. Good food, petting zoo was fun to watch. Water pressure for shower was poor, and valve to go between hand-held and fixed shower did not function.

Nice modern hotel with very friendly staff.

I have stayed at this hotel multiple times and currently scheduled for another stay for 2 weeks. The manager and all staff that I have communicated with were very professional and very friendly. It is quite and relaxing with shopping area close by. I look forward to staying here each time I return to China.

Good hotel. Location is the only disadvantage. Too far from the city and the once popular neighbourhood has fallen out of favour with locals of Qingpu. In China, this means dilapidated buildings and shops.

Oasis of comfort in a vast Hongqiao wasteland

In the vast desolate Area that surrounds the new Hongqiao exhibition centre this joyel is as good as it gets. Brar in mond it is 90 monites from Shanghai and 30 mns from the Fair, but it is a green oasis surrounded by a vast manmafe lake and adjacent to the big Carrefour shopping Centre. Also quite close to some mega high-emd desogner putlet malls. BreKfast presided over by the amazing Nilolai is a must, for variety, quality and presentation of the enormous buffet, and the front desk manager is a great asset for hotel and its guests. The hotel Manager takes a personal intetest in your comfort. But it still has a way to go...for example, the restaurant closes at 9:00 about which I was advised si i got in at 8:30, and was enjoying an ice cold Tsingdao and a superb togu and sesfood casserole, when all the iights and a/c turned off! It was 9 pm and the staff wS leaving! But the place is girgeous and the management is trying very hard!
