This hotel is GREAT. We've stayed there two years in a row. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel has a lot of character. The rooms are comfortable, and there are lots of lounges and gathering areas. The location is fantastic, within easy walking distance to the city center. Great views and food nearby. Very happy with my choice to stay at this hotel. The guys at reception were enthusiastically helpful; we got a lot out of our only 2 day stay in Reykjavik, and it all went smoothly thanks to their advice. The lounges were very comfortable, the library had some great titles, and the Fisk in a Pan at restaurant was to die for.

The location was perfect. Bus stop 15 is a fabulous location for all excursions and airport transfers, there’s a great Starbucks nearby, a lovely harbour walk, beautiful ships, old harbour house for whale watching and lovely food, a great selection of little restaurants on the harbour, it’s just a heavenly location. ABSOLUTELY perfect location.
