Peaceful and refreshing

I love the peace and serenity here. The rooms are not fancy but you get to experience the tranquility of nature and unplug. The patio has the most stunning view of the Topa Topas you could ask for. The breakfast was nice with hot eggs and vegan sausage coissants, bagels, yogurt, fruit, etc. The coffee was nice too but most of all the friends I was with!
Birthday celebration day and night in Ojai! Spa day, play in the evening and Ojai Retreat overnight! It was a fabulous stay! Thank you!

The Ojai Retreat is absolutely lovely. They go above and beyond in every capacity imaginable. From the quiet, peaceful, beautiful scenery to the epic breakfast buffet, they stole my heart. The photos don't do it justice. It's way better in person. Insanely fairly priced. It's truly a hidden gem. I hope I am able to stay there again.

It's such a beautiful place. It overlooks Ojai, rather than being down on the floor of the valley. The grounds are beautiful. And, from my breakfast table on the terrace, I watched a pair of mating hawks circle to their nearby nest.

Great service at check in, and nice breakfast! Everything is well maintained, but you can tell everything is a bit aged. Nothing bad at all.. just a bit rustic if you will~ we stayed at the Cozy room (each room has a name) and it had a shared bathroom…which I wasn’t too thrilled about. It stated that before I booked, so I was aware. Just in reality not my preference. The property is pretty, and very quiet which I appreciated. We only stayed one night for a golf thing so we didn’t have too much time to appreciate the grounds~ if you are looking for quiet and rustic and super reasonable price point, highly recommend

Very quiet. Breakfast was included and delicious. Loved the potatoes. Only downside, our garden patio furniture was really old and cushions were very flat and dirty. Hiking paths were lovely, but the “watch for snakes” with numerous holes made me run as fast as I could. Waterfall area was very nice. Patio would be so wonderful if it had a jacuzzi.
