Like always a super stay. I have been staying at Europäischer Hof over 50 times and I can only recommed this super Hotel. Arriving at Hamborg Hbf it only takes a few minutes to get there. Nice rooms and the best breakfast in Hamburg.

Excellent Hotel

Excellent. The rooms are clean, comfortable, well furnished and have space. We loved it. The staff are very professional and friendly. Excellent breakfast. And even though it's just over the road from the main station, our room was quiet. The hotel does provide earplugs for guests who may be overlooking the main road. Would live to come again.

Great hotel in a bad area

Very nice hotel, friendly helpful staff Arriving early for a business trip I had the chance to use the hotels facilities. The gym, spa and pool area were always kept spotless and the staff always welcomed with a friendly attitude. The only downside to the visit was the area which the hotel is in. The area appears to have been overrun with prostitution and drugs but as long as you stay close to the hotel or go outside the immediate area it’s safe enough.

I arrived late and left early, so I didn't get to explore Hamburg at all. The hotel's location is great for access to the railway station. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and I appreciated there being oat milk. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable, however there was no air-conditioning and it was a little stuffy. Also I think the use of plastic cups is not environmentally friendly.

Excellent situation opposite HauptBahnhof. Multilingual pleasant staff - guy on luggage storage particularly good considering what a boring job. Even cleaners pleasant. Excellent piano bar on Friday and Saturday nights. Breakfast comprehensive with long hours to get it. Room noisy due to location but hotel gave earplugs and slippers. Room stuffy but bed and chair comfortable with option to request more coffee made clear. Hadn't noticed minibar

Hotel is very clean and service is very good.

The hotel is a great place to stay. It could not be situated better in the center of Hamburg. The hotel is very clean and also the room was extremely clean. The breakfast has everything you could want even fresh made waffles every day, egg, bacon, fruit, fresh bread, youghurt erc . It is a big buffet. The only thing about the hotel is that you can hear the street at night through the window and our room didn't have air-conditioning so because of the summer heat we had to have the window open. We used the parking facilities at the hotel you give the key and the employee parks the car for you down in their parking garage, be aware that there are special rules about electric cars. Remember to visit the Green Bunker. The hotel will give you free local transport for 3 days for buses and metro. So all on all a perfect place to stay central, really good breakfast and free transport.

Not a god hotel for us

we were not allowed to park the car in the garage because it runs on electricity. It cost us €11 more to park in a public garage. Too many troublesome stairs to reach the room, we are not young people anymore. Never choose this hotel again. worst so far on our trip through Europe.

1) There are no electrical outlets within reach in the room. I had to charge the phone in the socket of the bathroom, and the laptop in the socket of the vacuum cleaner near the front door (the hotel's answer: this is how it is in all the rooms). 2) I asked if I could have a glass of fresh lemon juice (on doctor's orders - I got there after a week in Copenhagen, where they were happy to fulfill my modest request). The person responsible for breakfast answered: "No." Summary: A two star hotel pretending to be four stars.
