We went with the grandparents and kids. Firstly, we hate smoke and yes we knew it was a casino. Even walking into the hotel lobby, the smoke was present as it leaked in from the casino side. However, we chose smoke free rooms. Once you make it up to the smoke free area, theres a huge different and no smoke smell at all in the rooms. The room is a little outdated but not by too terribly much. It was clean and the beds were super comfy and clean. I bring my own bedding, esp with having kids there, but it was clean enough to trust it. As for amenities, we had a blast in the indoor and outdoor pool. Pretty basic, no slides, but clean and there was a kiddie pool. There is Kidsquest playground daycare where you can drop your kid off in a cool indoor playground that has tons of stuff and even food, and staff care for your kids while youre gambling. We didnt leave ours there alone and watched from afar as parents arent allowed inside. The food is good but expensive as to be expected. The casino was lively on a Saturday. Lots of music and food, tons of options to play for any bet amount your budgeting. Overall... this place is a great mini retreat to get away for a night. However anything past that might get boring as there really isnt too much to do (we didnt do the theratre or arcade though.) It's also in a small town with hardly any attractions. Overall, we will make this a seasonal trip from now on!
