Right in town, this place is a gem. Easy access to restaurants and the dock and the staff was outstanding.

Great Stay

The staff was very accommodating. We always try to stay at the Pilgrim House when we go to PTown. Iti s right in the middle of town.

Great clean rooms and location
FRANK, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Nice decor with friendly staff and comfortable bed. Not very sound proof as we heard a lot of steps from above but it did not bother us that much. Also, we wished there was coffee in the morning but again there are many cute and delicious cafés really nearby.

The entire staff went to great lengths to ensure our stay was as comfortable as could be. The food at Rosie's, the in-house restaurant, was also amazing!!! Absolutely five stars. We will definitely be coming back!

Expect Early Departure

It’s okay. It’s convenient to downtown Provincetown. Mattress was super hard. First time there the room was much nicer. They try to nickel and dime you. For example, it’s not clearly stated that they have an early checkout time of 10am and when you request a normal time of 10am (which they consider “late”) they charge you at least $25 more.

Nice property. First time there. We usually pick a more quiet bed and breakfast. But I was great after 1030pm Tv issues first day but they fixed it the second.

Very disappointed

I was looking forward to my 3 day stay in Provincetown to visit friends from across the country and was so disappointed in my stay at Pilgrim House! Service was less than desirable. Difficult to find staff available to ask questions or assistance. Did not have hot water for showers both mornings of my stay. Told staff and no comment or compensation for inconvenience. Waited quite awhile to check in, no staff available. No coffee offered in morning. Room was very noisy.

Excellent customer service
Gilberto, 3-night trip

6/10 Good

The gentleman behind the desk, José, was fantastic, professional, accommodating. The room itself was fairly barebones: no mini fridge, no coffee maker, no hot water kettle. Additionally, there was a lack of transparency around parking that could have been addressed numerous times via my inquiries by email and phone ahead of time, and more importantly, online. Parking in PTown is challenging for everyone, but when there's a lack of communication from the hotel, as was the case here, it erodes the respite factor of the stay. Communication needs to be improved, for there are other accommodations that go out of there way to ensure a connection prior to arrival.
Gary, 6-night trip

8/10 Very good

It was just okay. Felt like they could do better. When we checked in and asked where are room was he said upstairs and rooms are on the right and left. We only had one suitcase Stand, No where to put clothes except a very small rack with 5 hangers, so one suitcase is on the floor. The outlets were unstable. The mini split was had black mold in them. Smelled musty and mildewy. Also received a text message late evening 2 days prior to my arrival letting me know we were going to be charged for parking $50 a day. Feel like that should have been in the description and notified prior to booking. Convent to downtown.
Tina, 4-night trip

8/10 Very good

The windows seemed broken, and they needed maintenance. The WiFi was a little slow. But other than that it was a good experience
Thodoris, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Though no fault of the hotel, kids jumping upstairs until after 11:00pm was annoying.
Michele, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

I am sorry for qualifying as a terrible experience. Not because of the facilities, staff, services, quiet, and cleanliness. It was a rough experience due to some incidents in the room in front of mine during the night, that brought police intervention to break down that door. Probably this type of incident does not happen often at that place however, to be my first stay there it was very freak out for the rest of us who tried to stay calm in our rooms while law forces did their job.
Marly, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

I am so sorry to leave this review but the manager has dodged our in person, email and phone attempts to address a serious safety issue that occurred during our stay. I called and spoke with someone prior to our arrival to schedule our late night check in, which was confirmed via phone and email. When we arrived at 2am, there was no envelope left for us. We called the night manager on their emergency line repeatedly but he did not pick up (an employee later told us he had taken a sleeping pill). Eventually, we looked behind the front desk and found a list of all guests and their room numbers. Further, there was a shoe box of keys for every room underneath the desk. We took the key for our room. Essentially, the only reason we did not spend the night sleeping in our car was because of these really concerning safety issues.
Lauren, 3-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

This place was amazing! All, I can say is that everything was amazing! The room the hotel and all of the shops right out the front door! Will definitely recommend this place.

Comfortable and Convenient

The hotel is in a great location and the staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are simple but comfortable. Cleanliness was the one area where the hotel fell short.
3-night trip

4/10 Fair

Never Again

Massive disappointment and ripoff. Subpar and non-existent service and dingy, unclean, outdated rooms. A problem ridden “hotel” across the board. For the amount we paid we could have stayed at a stellar 4 or 5 star actual hotel. 90 percent of the time there was no hotel staff to contact. There are no staff overnight in case any issues arise from a clogged toilet to a medical emergency. The lobby was like a ghost town most of the time. Basically check yourself in and out and use a keypad to access the building. I’ve had much better service with an Airbnb. One morning I met an exhausted, stressed guest standing at the door stating he had to sleep outside because he was not sent via email the key code to enter after hours. I was appalled and upset for him. I let him in. And our “King Suite” felt like a dirty Super 8 room. IKEA type furniture from the 80s throughout that was worn out and chintzy damaged bathroom vanity, smelly toilet barely would flush and smelly, clogged sink pipes.Old gross shower no amenities like water or toiletries. We found stuff under the bed, and a leftover sex party pack of pills etc was left in plain view near the nightstand. Our sheets were dirty when we arrived and since there was no one to request a change we had to sleep on them and ask them to be changed the next day. GROSS. Room overall was dirty bedroom and bathroom. We were seriously grossed out the entire time. Never again
7-night trip

The only thing is you need to put the clean your room sign out if you want service. Other places you don't hang a sign unless you want privacy.
Karen, 3-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Pilgrim House is a super convenient location in the heart of “downtown” Ptown! Since we took an earlier ferry, we were accommodated with an early check in which was great! Since there was a drainage issue with the tub, we were offered an upgrade to a larger and nicer room - also great! Have to give a shout out to Jameson who from the time he arrived made our stay so stay so much better. He immediately brought us more towels and an extra pillow, shared dinning recommendations and also served up refreshing cocktails! Staff also provided us with beach towels and chairs! We tried the onsite restaurant which was excellent and there are many live entertainment options onsite, as well. All in all, a fantastic stay!
