The vending and the ice machine they did not work and did not look like they worked in years. We had to go next-door to the other hotel and get ice so make sure you bring ice and something to drink. The bathroom needs repairs to the shower.

Literally sleep in your car

To whom it may concern, we booked this trip because it was recommended by hotels.com I have never ever seen a room in worse condition. The curtain was broken, the sink was broken, the ceiling was falling apart, the bed had BLOOD ON THE BLANKET, and a yellow stain! We tried to call to complain but the phone is also broken! This place was a disaster to the point we were calling around trying to find somewhere else to stay. This is ridiculous and the smell was atrocious. I would like a partial refund for this room. I am very disappointed in our stay here! This is ridiculous.

I do not recommend

There were loads of bugs in my room. I had to leave. Chris at the front desk was nice, but I have to rate my stay as terrible because I drove back home to Maryland after a long day at Busch Gardens. It was dangerous which was why I reserved the hotel in the first place. I just wanted something reasonably priced where I could sleep for one night.

good budget hotel

my boyfriend and i stayed at this hotel for busch gardens & water country. it was honestly pretty decent for how much I paid. upon walking in tho it was a little dirty (esp in the bathroom and sink) so we had to use our own Clorox wipes and it smelled like smoke. There was also an old blood stain on the blanket— I didn’t notice until the last night :/. otherwise the bed was comfy and the AC was good. the breakfast consisted of muffins, bread, waffles, yogurt, cereal, and fruit. it was pretty nice. The general area is also near a lot of food places and grocery stores as well (everything was less than 10-15 mins away). overall I would recommend if you’re on a budget and need a hotel near the parks!

Smelly

Thankfully only stayed a night and only there about 12 hours. While the beds were comfy and no bugs, the room smelled like pet urine. The bathroom door looked it had water damage and the back of the door had scratch marks all over from what I could guess was a dog. Mold was also growing on the ceiling of the bathroom. Breakfast had cereal, plain oatmeal, coffee/tea, juice, bagels, and bread.

Spacious room except for bathroom area. Toilet didn't work properly. The shower was in ok condition but would not turn off when nob was pushed in. We booked the room also for pool access and it was closed. Staff was nice.

The guy at the front desk was very friendly and knowledgeable. However the rooms are dated and paint chipping. You can see where they tried to repaint and just dropped some on the floor. Looked like mold on the shower ceiling. Floors were kind of dirty. Bathroom knob was falling off and the door was a pain to open and close. Pillow had stains. We saw a pool outside but nothing was open. No ice in the ice machine.

I did not feel safe at this hotel with my family so we only stayed over night instead of two, forfeiting what we paid for the second night. It was obvious that there were several rooms being rented long term and the people living in those rooms were very loud and were hanging around outside, not far from our room, drinking a massive amount of beer. There was a huge pile of beer cans next to the trashcan in the breezeway when we left for the water park in the morning. The walls were paper thin so we could hear dogs barking through the night. The doors on all the rooms we looked at had clearly been broken in to, several times. The shower head was broken and the shower barely drained, leaving us in ankle deep water. The breakfast was not good. They had frozen waffles, half frozen, laid out with the bagels and bread for toast. The sweet and low in the packets came out in chunks and there wasn't much food there, overall. We ended our vacation early after we visited Water County USA, so we did not check out until after 11am. We were not refunded for the second night. I would not recommend staying here.

The bed was comfortable. People in room above me were jumping around making noise for awhile. Had to use toilet paper for Kleenex. Then found what I thought was Kleenex and it was napkins. Had the necessary furniture for a comfortable stay. Would have liked carpeting. TV was good. Had the necessary amenities.
