We arrived 45 minutes before check-in (3:15) and even though the hotel was relatively empty, they refused us early check-in. We were tired from a long day on the road, and to be turned away was just wrong. Other than that, it was one of the nicer places we've stayed on the road in Mexico. The room was nice, linens were fresh, breakfast was adequate and free, and the overnight price was more than fair. The pool was in dire need of maintenance. And the parking lot needs to be repaired.

OK. Carpet in both rooms was so sticky and dirty that socks turned brown instantly. Washer/Dryer out of service key cars deactivated at least twice a day, every day. the rooms stay so humid, clothes/towels never dried. Breakfast was chaos, too many guests and not enough space to sit and the food ran out constantly, we tried getting a pancake for 3 days unsuccessfully. the only silver light was the nice lady in the kitchen/breakfast area who was kind and friendly.
