Enjoyed my stay here! I felt safe and comfortable coming back late in the evening from nights out. A small improvement would be using QR codes to scan ‘breakfast’ forms or papers instead. Overall, brilliant stay and friendly staff. Would stay again☺️

The hotel was beautifully positioned close to the Piazza Navona in a little cul de sac yet without the noise and hassle of the main tourist areas. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was nice though the outdoor sitting area could have been nicer and things like the light wasn't working. Breakfast was served in your room, and I had a lovely view over the rooftops. But be aware that there isn't a lift so travel light or keep fit (or staying her will make you fit) as it is quite a long climb to the top floor!

Everything I was looking for in a classy palace from the 1500s. Easy, wide stairs. Shower is small but not a problem for us. Taxi is 3 min walk from hotel. Loved the quaint, historic charm and will definitely be back when returning to Rome. Excellent experience!!

This hotel is extremely wonderful. It is right in the heart of so many restaurants. David at the front counter and his staff made arrangements for us at the airport. The room was extremely clean and they bring you breakfast in the morning. The only negative is there are quite a few steps and no elevator, once you enter. The hotel reminds me of an old mansion.

This place is fantastic! The location is great! All of the major tourist attractions are walkable from here. There are lots of darling shops and restaurants right outside the door. Breakfast is delivered to your door everyday. The staff is warm and accommodating. We will definitely stay here again on our return trip to Rome! 😄

It’s a great little hotel, we were on the fourth floor (95 stair steps!) Our room was average size with a balcony. Great spot to eat the included breakfast, great coffee and croissants etc. Bathroom shower was pretty small, a large window that let in lots of light. I do agree with others that it was a bit expensive for the quality. It was built in the 16 th century so there is a lot of charm, but needs some care. The location is great. It’s central to everything! All sites are walkable. Many restaurants right outside your door, shopping etc. The staff were amazing!

It is very aged, my room was extremely small, the property did not have an elevator, the reception area was extremely small and outdated, they did not have a central breakfast area (breakfast had to be delivered to the room), you need to order your breakfast by 8 PM the night before with no flexibility

Always thrilled to return to hotel teatro pace… now for more than 11 years as a very happy guest, I’ve introduced this gem to 25 new fans over the decade Clean, quiet, and steps from piazza Navona without being too close to the happy chaos, the hotel offers a respite from the crowds and a perfect jumping off point for your rome adventures. This hotel is excellent and not for those for whom steps aren’t convenient. This stay we had probably the best room/ jr suite with lots of space and an outdoor terrace overlooking the rooftops and the church nearby. That comes with a 4 floor walk up winding and increasingly steep steps. Worth it for sure and not for everyone :)

The property is very nice and you can feel the history. The location is perfect and is an easy walk to just about everywhere. I have no complaints, I just didn’t love the no elevator part. We were on the 4th fl which was daunting after a full day of sightseeing and walking. I was fully aware of this when I booked it so it is no fault of the hotel. It was the end of our two week trip so by that point I was over stairs anywhere. There are great restaurants steps from the hotel and I can’t complain about anything. The terrace room was excellent. That was a nice treat in the am and after a full day out. Beds was comfy, bathrooms were spacious. Would recommend but would caution you if stairs are a problem.

Great location. You can walk to a lot of the main sights in Rome. There is a bus stop about 5 mins away. You can see the age of the building, but the room was in great condition. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. If you purchase the breakfast, just know there is not a dining room. You schedule a time for you breakfast to be delivered to you room each morning. It’s a good selection and variety. I did not need to eat lunch any of the days I was there. The only thing about my stay that was frustrating was the wifi. It was extremely slow.

Sleepless in Rome.

We were looking forward to getting some sleep prior to a very long travel day with international flights. We were kept awake for most of the night by the couple next door with very very very thin walls. Then, we were woken up at 6:30AM by workers loading steel pipes into a metal flat bed truck for at least 45 mins. The concierge was indifferent. Apparently this type of loud work below our window at 6:30 am is unavoidable. I tell you what is avoidable - me booking this hotel again. Brutal.
