Good location, staff helpful and friendly. Room was quite small, was a bit dated. There was quite a strong smell of smoke in the room. Given the location, earplugs may be a good idea.

Good location in a nice area. Staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was satisfactory for a short stay and had the amenities we needed. The tv remote didn’t work, it was replaced by the time we’d got back. It’s a very old beautiful building but tired now I’m afraid. No facilities for food at all. Apparently everything changed after Covid

Rose Court Hotel delivered exactly what we hoped for during our stay. The location is absolutely fantastic. The team was incredibly accommodating and genuinely friendly throughout our visit. Was really concerned given reviews but we found this hotel to be excellent. Friendly reception, quiet room at rear on 3rd floor. The bijou lift worked! Spotless room and en suite. No hairs no bugs adjustable heating, opening windows, comfy beds great sleep. Yes its old but you cant stay in a Victorian building and expect hermetically sealed Barrett home with Ikea furniture! Maybe rooms vary but would stay again and a great location.

We stayed for one night in the "lower ground" level. It was quiet and private, but access was difficult with bags. The Rose Court is functional, and bed layout was good, but is the hotel is in major need of remodel. If you need a budget location, it may work, but we won't stay again. Location was great and there is an excellent nearby restaurant for breakfast, La Masseria!

The whole experience was awful. If i could give minus stars i would. The staff were rude and unhelpful. Hotel was tired, dirty, smelt badly and the window wouldnt shut in one of the bedrooms. My colleagues refused to stay the night and sort alternative accommodation instead of staying.

Basic room in a good location we know you get what you pay for, but another couple in the next room arguing and slamming of doors all night kept us both awake .them to top it off enduring having to listen to the making up the next morning… I think the night porter should of done something about the doors and raised voices

Place is in terrible conditions, couldnt take a shower it was almost no water running, through the night it was too loud is impossible to rest, worst experiece i ever had, sadly i was travelling for work and i needed a place to rest, this was the wrong choice

The outside of the hotel was attractive and the location was very convenient. The inside was very run-down however and my room in the basement was without heating and cold. Fortunately, the receptionists helped me and gave me an electric fire to use and repaired my TV which also did not work. Despite the nice staff, I will not return.
