Not a bad chorice if you do not care the noise

The Room is quiet ok for Budget traveller. However Its really noisy during the night because the Bar is opposite to the hostel, especially weekends the Music last to 3-4 am. Better to sleep with earplugs. The Staff are friendly and Location is good. Not a Bad choice if you do not care the noise.

Ottima struttura, molto comoda per il centro e silenziosa nonostante sia nel cuore della movida di Lisbona, a due passi da un bellissimo miradouro. Il personale è gentilissimo e disponibile e i bagni, anche se in comune, sono molto puliti; inoltre ce ne sono diversi per piano e non si rischia di dover far la coda. Non portate valigie troppo pesanti però, le scale possono essere un po' ostiche.

Las habitaciones son pequeñas, pero están limpias:los baños son compartidos, pero hay suficientes para todos ls huéspedes de la planta, en 5 días no tuvimos que esperar ni una vez, y también están limpios. La ubicación es excelente, y aunque hay mucho ruido en la calle por la noche, las dobles ventanas lo hacen casi inaudible. Pero sin duda lo mejor es el personal del hostel, muy simpáticos y atentos, nos orientaron y aconsejaron perfectamente, además de prestarnos alguna cosa. Calidad-precio inmejorable.

Le logement était bien. Les salles de bains sont communes mais il n’y a pas d’attente pour y accéder. Le petit déjeuner est simple mais bon. Quant à l’acceuil, il n’y a rien à redire. L’hostel a un super emplacement.

Nous y sommes resté 5 jours. Super implantation, les lits sont très confortables. On y dors très bien. Les salles de bain spacieuses et toilettes .(2 sdb /toilette + 1 toilette pour 5 chambre ) toujours nickel à croire qu'il passent après chaque passage. On entend les bruits dans le couloir mais ça n'empêche pas de dormir vu ce qu'on marche ! Peut être dérangeant pour les sommeil très léger. Il y a un bar à côté de l'hôtel, le soir c'est la fiesta mais avec les 2 fenetres doubles vitrées ça nous a bercé + plus que dérangé. Le seul bémol c'est qu'une table de chevet de chaque côté aurait été apprécié pour poser ses affaires (il y en a qu'une + 1 porte manteau sur la porte + un portique avec quelques cintres). Le personnel est très accueillants toujours près a vous renseigner, bilingue et certains ont quelques notions de français vraiment sympatique. Le petit dej dimple est proposé en plus sur place. Mais nous ne l'avons pas pris pour aller nous goinfrer des pasteis chez Manteigaria ;-) Si vous cherchez un lit confortable, une sdb nickel et découvrir la ville de Lisbonne Cascais et Sintra . C'est le bon endroit !

Hostel accueillant, proche des bars

Le BA hostel est parfaitement situé, à côté des restaurants, bars, dans un quartier très vivant et proche à pied des autres quartiers. Chambre et salle de bain très propre, petit déjeuner à 3€ très correct, café/thé gratuit toute la journée. Et surtout la gentillesse des personnes qui travaillent là, vraiment génial !! On recommande !!!

Esperienza più che piacevole. Tutto lo staff è stato disponibile a darci tutte le informazioni che ci servivano per goderci Lisbona al meglio. La zona è perfetta se si vuole uscire la sera, tanti localini animati e tantissima gente per le strade. È anche ben servito dai mezzi. Rapporto qualità-prezzo ottimo. Vi ankom kl 1 med to sovende børn.. receptionisten var vildt flink og gav tips til parkering af bil, så vi undgik tyveri/skader. Morgenmaden var simpel men god. Sengene var dejligt behagelige og badeværelset var fint. Og så var det billigt!! 400 for fire mennesker inkl morgenmad.. :)

High ratings must be from people used to hostels

We booked a private triple room on the basis of the pretty good reviews and score this property had on Orbitz. The room had two bunk beds (so actually four beds, though only three had pillows and linens). The room was basic (as expected) and an average size for a four-bed hostel-type room. A basic continental breakfast was included (bread, cheese, deli meat, cereal, coffee, juice). The room itself was decently clean, though the whole hostel did have that very typical stinky-feet-type smell that hostels often have (lots of people and poor ventilation, I think), so I had to mark down my room cleanliness score for that. The biggest issue is that it's sort of false-advertising that this hostel has air conditioning. The rooms do have an individually-controlled A/C unit, but they cut power to them for one hour every other hour, so the unit only works half the time. It was tolerable in the slightly cooler fall weather but would have been unbearable on a hot summer day. I recommend looking elsewhere in the summer, until they change this stupid policy. I also think Orbitz shouldn't list them as having air conditioning if they don't offer it full-time. The location right in the heart of the Bairro Alto was quite good--almost directly at the top of the Santa Justa lift, so very easy access to the Baixa and a short walk to Chiado. Unfortunately, being in the Bairro Alto meant that it's far from peaceful at night--the hostel sits on top of a club that thumps until the wee hours.

Il est situé dans un très bon quartier, à notre arrivé nous avons été très bien accueilli. Nous étions 3 et on nous a donné une chambre pour 4. Les lits superposés sont très confortables, la chambre est un peu petite mais ca fait très bien l'affaire ! les salles de bain et les toilettes été propre à notre arrivée et pendant nos 2 nuits. On nous a toujours bien renseigné que ca soit sur les restaurants aux alentours, les visites, elles a mêmes appelé pour vérifier certains horaires, on a une carte de la ville. Vraiment rien a redire

Cool Clean Comfort

I will miss this hostel and the neighborhood will definitely stay here again if i come back and recommend it to friends. Staff are very pleasant helpful and accomodating always available 24 hrs round the clock. Clean room, bed and bathrooms. Our room is on the top floors with balcony, at the back and inner street. Its very quiet during day and lots of party noise late at night. But its not really a problem if you close the windows and use the A/C.

서비스: 모든 직원들이 친절합니다~모르는거 물어보면 적극적으로 친절하기 대응해줬습니나. 다만, 마지막날에 체크아웃 이후에 짐을 다시 찾으러 왔을때 공용 샤워실도 사용 불가라고 단호하게 나와서 아쉬웠네요... 청결: 방은 깨끗했으나, 지내는 동안(5박) 침대 시트를 한번도 교체를 안해줬네요.. 내부소음: 복도에 사람 걸어다니는 소리, 옆방 문여는 소리, 샤워하는 소리가 다 들려요.... 외부소음: 숙소 근처에 많은 술집들이 있어서 새벽 2~3시까지는 시끄럽습니다....많이!! 기타: 에어컨은 한시간 정도 틀어주고 한시간정도 꺼버리고...이상한 시스템을 가지고 있어서, 타이밍 안맞으면 낮에는 제대로 쉬지도 못하고 땀 흘리고 있을수도 있습니다 ㅋㅋㅋ 세탁기 사용료는 4유로이고 건조기는 없어서 건조대를 대여해주네요~~수건도 1유료에 대여 가능

Goed hostel in centrum van Lissabon

Het hostel is pas gerenoveerd. De kamers zijn schoon en het sanitair is heel netjes. Het ontbijt is er prima. In de buurt zijn veel restaurantjes. Met tram 28 kom je langs veel bezienswaardigheden. Lopen kan ook, maar dat betekent veel klimmen, want de stad is op heuvels gebouwd.
