I've stayed at this location several times in the last 2-3 years and it's consistently an excellent hotel. The front desk staff is friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast staff are the BEST! They are lovely and the food is great! It's the best LaQuinta breakfast I've ever had - these ladies know how to season food and they're so nice! I stay here every time I come to Starkville. It's safe and convenient to MSU and everything in Starkville.

My original room had ants, but the staff at the front desk happily gave me another room. When I went down for breakfast before the time breakfast was supposed to close and opened the lid for the hot bar, one of the workers said “oh I’ve already packed that up, but I have the food in my bag if you want some” I looked over and the food was on covered plates by the worker’s belongings. Since breakfast is supposed to be included in the nightly cost, this was very frustrating, especially since I came to breakfast before it was supposed to close and I had to go elsewhere and purchase breakfast.
