Dun Aluinn really is something that needs to be experienced in order to appreciate just how incredible it really is. From location, to amenities and above all the levels of personal service, it truly is exceptional in every aspect, not just for this region of Perthshire, but as a standard bearer for other hotels throughout the country to try and emulate. Our single regret is that we didn’t make a reservation for evening dinner during our all too brief stay, but which now provides the ideal excuse for another visit in the not too distant future.

An amazing stay for those who love wonderful design, warm hospitality, excellent food and beautiful scenery. We stayed for one night only, in the main house and it was a great relaxing time. The interiors of the house are what drew us to book, but the overall experience made us want to go back. The rooms are well appointed, beds comfortable and have lovely views of the surrounding highlands. Our room was downstairs, as we had a dog with us, and were beside the kitchen so there was some noise in the morning but otherwise it was fine. We chose to have dinner in the house and had an excellent three course meal. The wine selection was also great. Breakfast is a real treat. The local area of Aberfeldy has access to lots of great walking routes and the town is a short 5 min walk from the house.
