Great hotel for the price

I have stayed there before but it had been about a year since our last stay. Rooms are comfortable and clean. I didn't like that now you have to pay extra if you want the better breakfast and every morning they make sure to tell you out loud that you can only have the stuff to the right cause you didn't pay for the other. We stayed 5 nights so I knew this by day 2 there's no need to repeat it every morning. It made me feel like they single you out. I'm not a big breakfast eater so the simple breakfast is fine.I just wanted toast and coffee but you only have like jelly and butter for the toast. I was in the mood for peanut butter and asked if I could just take a 1/2 spoonful of peanut butter from the buffet and they make it seem like it was such a big deal. In the end the supervisor or guy in charge said it was fine but I really didn't like the way they made me feel.

The check-in was a nightmare because we were on the motorway on a long drive to reach the hotel (over three and a half hours drive) and we called to advise about our late arrival. We would be arriving shortly after 6pm and they insisted we pre-pay the rooms even though we were confirming we were on our way there and we had booked through Hoteles.com choosing the option of paying upon arrival because we were 4 businessmen and each of us were going to pay our own room so putting one card for all four rooms was a problem and it took three calls and asking for a manager for them to accept our arrival at 6:15pm instead of before 6pm. Once we were there it was an outstanding experience. Shame it was soured by the worries we might lose our reservation while on the motorway.
