The hotel is beautiful, newly renovated, however no room in our room for suitcases, we couldn’t have the window open due to bugs flying in(we were by a light) however we also had spiders. When I told the front desk clerk all she said was sorry about that and took my 9 euro for breakfast. However breakfast was great, made fresh.

It’s hard to give a fair critique as they were under construction while we were there. However the room was beautiful. No electricity in the bathroom otherwise very modern and stylish. The breakfast was really well done. A great location for accessing the national park. Lots of places to eat in area and walk.

We had trouble locating the property as the name has been changed but I did not see on Hotels.com that their sign still says The Killarney Inn outside. Thankfully I walked in and saw something that said The Vero. The hotel has clearly been renovated and is nice. The carpet is very thick and not installed properly throughout the hotel or in the room we stayed in. The thickness made rolling luggage very difficult. There is no lift, so you will have to carry up and down the stairs if you stay above the ground floor. The hotel does not have AC and temps were above 21º C during our staying, making it warmer during the night. Thankfully there is one window that opens fully but sleeping was still difficult. It would be helpful if the duvet was not so thick during summer months. Having a fan would have also been helpful. The bathroom is very nice. We might stay here again depending on the time of year.
