Good business center to use and staff was very helpful in everything needed. Easy to walk to all shops and restaurants. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. The only drawback was that the bathroom was very small as was the room. Water pressure was fine but not much counter space. Otherwise, we would stay here again.

The room is recently refreshed in a very old property. The HVAC was good, but not needed in May. Parking was very convenient to downtown Boothbay Harbor. The location is in convenient walking distance to many restaurants and boat cruises. On our day of departure we took a schooner ride aboard the "Eastwind" that toured the harbor and departed from the same dock that the hotel is on. The extensive lounge opens onto a decks with an expansive view of the entire outer harbor--a great place to watch boats come and go. There are several excellent breakfast places nearby. My favorite is the Blue Moon Cafe. The Red Cup offers convenient take-out. The hotel offers two types of coffee, as well as tea, gratis, in the morning. Not fancy, but convenient and comfortable!

The room was well appointed and comfortable. Unfortunately, I did not put out the door tag for cleaning on the first night. I didn't see it, as it was under the Do Not Disturb sign. When I returned, the bed was not made and the used towels were still in the bathroom. After the second night I put out the door sign which said "Maid Service, Please clean this room as soon as possible". When I returned in the late afternoon, the room had not been cleaned, the bed was unmade and the used towels were still in the bathroom. I reported this to the person at the front desk. She gave me clean towels and said that the card for the maid which was in my room was outdated, though it was the only one available to me. Other than that I was well satisfied with the room and the other services.
