You have to keep in mind this is a old city and the hotel is also old. Great location for tourist and the staff is one of the best Ive ever encountered, they are so kind and go beyond being helpful. I would stay here again.

The hotel was very quaint and quite lovely. The staff was outstanding in every way from handling problems to giving great local advice to even running after us to retrieve the room key that we took accidentally. The breakfast was very nice and the location was outstanding only a few minutes from each of the tourist highlights of Istanbul. The view from our room was terrific and the room was quite spacious and comfortable.

Our stay at Agora Life was excellent. Our room was clean and comfortable. The rooftop terrace was truly a highlight. Breakfast was included with a large buffet as well as cooked-to-order options. It was a great way to start the day. I would be remiss not to mention the staff on the front desk. They were exceptionally helpful and assisted us in arranging transportation and tours, as well as providing support for the use of public transit. Kudos to the team! This hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of many major attractions. Shopping and restaurants are readily available in the neighbourhood.

The hotel is right at the heart of the city within walking distance of all the main sites with plenty of good food options including street food directly outside which was excellent. The views from the top floor terrace are amazing for sunrise and sunset views of Hagia Sophia and the ships on the Bosporus

I have just had a four nights stay at the Agora Life Hotel in Istanbul. I stayed on the second floor in room 201. My hotel stay was not a pleasant one for a number of reasons but mainly because there was a strong smell of drains coming from the bathroom and seeping into the bedroom. I arrived late afternoon on Tuesday 1st September. I raised this on Wednesday afternoon with hotel staff alongside the fact that my bathroom floor was flooded whilst taking a shower. The staff member apologised and said that I would receive a complementary upgrade to another room and he needed to speak with his manager that night. When I returned that night, I was told that a chemical treatment had been applied and the windows opened. I went to the room and the stench of drains remained and worsened once the windows were shut ( as it was noisy outside). I raised this again on Thursday to no avail . Thursday night I wet pads of toilet paper and placed them on each of the 3 drain outlets plus I soaked towels to add additional weight. What should have happened is that I should have been moved from that room on Wednesday night. The hotel was situated along a cobbled side street - there was no taxi access to the front of the hotel which meant we had to drag our cases over the cobbles for a reasonable distance- as a fit person, i found this difficult. I can only describe my stay as grim and on this basis would suggest that you look elsewhere. In no way does the website represent the reality.

Wonderful stay. Was offered a lot of help planning meals, shopping , and tours. Arranged for transportation to the airport. Was upgraded to a suite with a beautiful view of city and Bosphorus. Staff was friendly and helpful.
