Shuttle was to train station. There was free breakfast. There are Finnish Saunas, coed, nude - no clothing allowed but kept very clean. Guys, during my stay there were only 2 Asian women that used the Sauna but ran out when I arrived, never to be seen again. We had a beautiful view of Mt Matterhorn from our room balcony where we enjoyed cheese & wine. Decently located, walking distance to all shops. Would highly recommend staying here.

What a wonderful, cozy stay! We stayed 2 nights in the Matterhorn Suite. The views of the Matterhorn from the rooms are breathtaking! The hospitality was remarkable, most notably from Michael! Breakfast was superb and included in the price of our stay. It’s our second time to Zermatt and when we return, we will book again with Hotel Chesa Valese!

Absolutely stunning views! We could see Manhattan clearly from our room every single day. On one morning, the sunrise painted the top of the skyscrapers in a way that made them look like glowing candles—it was magical. We had a lovely stay at hotel Chesa Valese. we especially liked the hospitality of the owner and that she was often present and takes such good care and pride and their family business. Her staff is very attentive. We had a beautiful view of the Matterhorn and the location was perfect for walking around and access to ski lift. Breakfast was especially good and a nice way to start the day, and après-ski the sauna and steam rooms were very relaxing. This is a place we will remember and return to:)
