We booked the hotel because it had a pool and a hot tub, but was told a couple of days before our arrival that they were unavailable or under construction or something. By then, it was too late to find another hotel because of the state fair going on. I was also surprised to see that they only had shampoo and no conditioner in the shower.

It was disappointing to receive an email notifying us that the hotel pool and hot tub were out of service only after we had already booked. Because we were travelling, we didn't see the email until we arrived. Had we known about these closures in advance, we would have chosen a different hotel. The complimentary breakfast was also underwhelming, and the pancake maker was out of order, which further detracted from our stay.

The beds were very comfortable, the keys had some issues, having to reprogram them at least 3 times there, if they get too close to anything metal, phones ect they turn off, food could be better as with all hotels, it was for the most part quiet, the walls are a little thin. But overall a good stay

Pool and hot tub not functional which was informed to me by Microtel Inn and Suites call center staff that its operational. When i checked in the front desk apologized and agreed tor refund me back 100% but it was unfortunate that a 9 PM i along with my son and old parents was not feasible to find another option. Anyways i let it go but when i was assigned 323 room, all was good but the washroom sink/washbasin was completed choked and again at night the same front desk staff was very humble and offered me another room. Finally in 30 room i was able to move in and had a great sleep and stay. Now in morning i expected quite decent breakfast but unfortunate part is very minimal options been provided ....coffee, tea, juices, bread, jam/butter, waffle, yogurt and apple. I am sure if you can invest in keep eggs whether be it scrambled or boiled one would have made it great choice.
