Linda was very welcoming when we arrived and explained everything clearly. Room was spacious and bed comfortable. The breakfast was very tasty. We only stayed 1 night on the way to the Arran ferry. A few calves there as it was calving time while we were there

We stayed at Dykefield Farm B&B for our honeymoon and absolutely loved it. Lynda was a wonderful host who made us a delicious Scottish breakfast every morning and gave us tips for traveling to Edinburgh and Glasgow. The farm is beautiful and picturesque, like a Thomas Kinkade painting.

Very good b and b.

Had a lovely stay at Dykefield. Lynda was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was nicely cooked and very tasty. A good, traditional old fashioned b and b. Very quiet location which made for a great sleep. I would recommend this b and b and would stay again. I liked watching the fields of cows from the window and the lovely swifts flying around just outside the window.

It’s a room with a bed for one night.

It’s a hotel with a bed. Very quiet at night so no disturbance whilst sleeping. Great host even left me an early breakfast out and “secure” parking for my motorcycle. Well undercover which is a lot more than you can say for most other hotels.

Peaceful farm

This farmhouse B&B was a lovely discovery. Quiet and in lovely countryside, it was very convenient for Dumfries House. It is not for those who want a four poster bed. It is a working farm and fine for a stay of a couple of nights.

Gorgeous working Farm

A working farm in a gorgeous part of the world. The host was super hospitable the room was lovely and clean. The bed was not that comfortable for me but ymmv. The bathroom is shared but not a problem for me.

8/10 Very good

The room was lovely, as was the breakfast in the morning. Only issue there was no on-suite, had to go down stairs to toilet etc. But overall would recomend it, if you are in the area and would use again, if needed. Thank you

8/10 Very good

The property was fine. We took a very nice walk along the road. It was very quiet and beautiful. the host was very kind and attentive to our wants and needs. We hoping she had a double, queen or even a king bed. All she had available was two twins. It worked out though. The only thing we really didn’t like was the only en-suite was down stairs.
