Gorgeous hotel with laods of history including castle ruins on property. The loch walk was beautiful and peaceful and there are options for row boat rental or fishing if you are keen. Breakfast was ample and tasty however the evening meal we rated average to a little disappointing especially for the price. That being said food options in the area are limited so we will probably do the dinner again on our next stay.

This is quite simply a gorgeous place to stay. It is expensive but worth every penny. The location and grounds are excellent with walks to the loch side and castle just a few minutes from the main building. The room and facilities are exquisite. Access to the comfortable library and lounge gives a great place to relax and read or have a drink before or after dinner. A top stay! We had stayed here on our honeymoon 30 years previously and it still lived up to the expectations for our recent anniversary stay.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The staff was beyond welcoming and made us feel like it was our home away from home. The property was absolutely magical and the location couldn’t have been better being as though it was very close to so many prime sites.
