1.Best location for access to the locks. 2. Older property but very clean, great bed, super kind and helpful staff. 3.We were early in the season. Just getting things back in shape after winter. They were actively working on things like landscaping and general maintenance. 4. Even though it is not new and modern by todays standards, it has loads of history and charm which is consistant for the area and offers a feeling that lends to appreciation for your Soo trip. After all it is the oldest city in Michigan! 5. Parking was literally 3 feet from the door to our cottage! All parking is within a short reasonable walk. 6. Breakfast in the office building offered a great selection and a dedicated attendant that was very conscientious of her duties. 7. Motel is right next door to one of the best restaurants in the Soo. 8. We have stayed there before and we will stay there next time because there is no better place to get the full Soo experience. Give it a try. I think you will be pleased with your selection!
