Clean and comfortable room with really lovely staff. The building is quite old and there's a lot of stairs, but that's to be expected! The location couldn't have been better. There's also a good choice at breakfast, would stay here again.

This is a great little hotel despite it being very old and in need of some repair in places. The staff were great and couldn't do enough for you. The room was small but clean and had everything we need in it. The shower looked old but was very powerful and easy to use. Breakfast was very nice and there were plenty of options. It was a great location for us as we got to explore the Hoe in the afternoon and then it was a short walk to the theatre in the evening. This is a great place to stay if you don't mind something that isn't quite perfect but is friendly, helpful and clean. We will return again on our next visit to the theatre,

You need to book parking as very limited spaces. If not it’s £19 to park on street! Shower was broken so had to hold it by the head . Room small but ok. Breakfast staff friendly and food was ok.

The Staff , on arrival and especially at breakfast were friendly and welcoming and professional. Room very clean. Breakfast, good selection, the eggs ( poached and fried) cooked to perfection. Just note there are no lifts but I was well aware of this prior to booking. My room was on the fifth floor but it was okay but my stay was short. I would stay at the Invicta Hotal again.

Unfortunately, we were moved to their sister hotel named ‘The Drake Hotel’ due to no room available. But the Drake Hotel’ staff were amazing, very helpful with our little dog, set up private breakfast area and oh yeah the breakfast was delicious too.

£10 to park in hotel Carpark at the back of hotel staff were, friendly if no parking on hotel site than on the road it is £19.50 for 24 hrs. The bedroom no 25 was nice and spacious but dated and worn out the bathroom lock not working and one spot light bulb not working bed was comfortable and bar service was excellent and nice morning breakfast but the table no 6 was unstable on the floor. Staff said if you loose the key the cost is £50.
