A nice clean motel for an overnight

The Claddagh is a nice comfortable no-nonsense motel in Rockport. My main reasons for my overall rating of average are (1) I reserved a room with a garden view but was assigned a room with a parking lot right outside my door and no other view, and (2) the motel description on hotels.com noted that breakfast was included in the room rate; however, we were told that breakfast service was suspended due to covid. The room was clean but rather small. I appreciated the fact that there were two luggage racks in the room. The bed was very comfortable.

This was a spur of the moment Labor Day getaway. This stay was perfect! The property is very well maintained, staff super friendly, and Mr. Gilmore was always on the move and available to take care of your needs. Centrally located to the coast, lighthouse, hiking, Rockport, Camden. Will definitely be going again!! Stress free!!!

We spent a total of 5 days here, in the Fall, because it is centrally located in relation to the places we wanted to visit, Camden, Rockland, Belfast, Bar Harbour and Boothbay Harbor, among others. We were pleasantly surprised by the Motel’s nice rooms, clean, well-furnished. Easy parking. The owner, Alex, was very helpful and a nice breakfast was available. Great Irish hospitality.

The motel and owner has a distinct "Irish Home Feel". I found it to be a very good place to spend a couple nights (I was attending a nearby professional conference so didn't use some amenities, pool, etc.). I would recommend the hotel.

A little piece of Ireland

This was a wonderful and quaint little place with mementos of Ireland in all the details so carefully picked out for a very unique and restful place to stay. The continental breakfast was great, with scones, yogurt, fresh fruit, cereal, great coffee and very Irish pub music to warm your heart!!! Blessings abide!!! Thank you to Alex and his family!
