Like: convenient, connected to the train station directly with lots of interesting cafes/ restaurants nearby. Dislike: very dated and old from furnishing to the curtain etc, poor soundproofing, strong smell of thinner from their level 3, felt like vomiting and giddy after smelling that for 1 min after we exited the lift in search of the gym/pool. Tried calling the reception / operator multiple times at 10-11am but no one pick up. Not sure if this can be called a 4 star hotel.

The hotel was good for getting over jet lag and convenient via transit from Changi Airport. It's rating as a 4 star hotel is not accurate, rather a good 3 star. Rooms are small and tight for two people and the pool was a nice feature. We stayed 3 days before proceeding to our focus destinations in Malaysia.

Towels were old, stained, tattered. One had a large hole in it. Housekeeping never did a good clean and make up of the room. Rooms are tired and worn out, yet this is a fairly new hotel. For the price, very disaapointing. Will not stay here again

Cosy, expensive but comfy

The location is undeniably SUPERB but to contact any concierge staff in the day is a headache coz it’s almost impossible to get hold of one as their lines are too busy. I tried calling more than 30x straight in a row. However once you get to talk to them, you’ll understand how courteous and professional they render their services to you. Upon arrival, the staff promptly attended to me and also assisted to allow earlier check-in for my convenience. I find this service heartwarming. The room is small but cosy enough for us. Cleanliness is also ok. Basic amenities have been provided. No minibar but there’s a bar fridge, electric kettle, iron, ironing board, digital safe & torchlight. TV should be 32” and provides a comfy distance for watching from your bed. Shower room has no bathtub and also no restaurant for daily breakfast but it’s no big deal when you know all eateries are just right beside and around the vicinity of the hotel. What I loved about the room is the anti-slip treatment they have done for the bathroom floor. It’s super useful and safe for anyone, particularly good for elderly during shower time. Pool is small & quite well-maintained but it’s shared with the apartment residents. Price is expensive for the hotel but overall we had a great time. Check-out was such a breeze that took no more than 20 seconds. My regret was their FM staffs only then started to put up Xmas decor so we didn’t get to take any Xmas pics, it’s quite a pity.

While some things could be improved eg better quality towels, hairdryer & iron worked but we’re old & worn, the rooms & staff were excellent I particularly want to commend the GM for making an effort for the Grand Prix weekend. The drinks etc & the opportunity to meet with guests & staff was fabulous. Would definitely stay here again. The location is also brilliant
