Great location near Termini, and also a walkable distance to many of the sites in Roma. Very nice breakfast. The reception staff was wonderful, very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely stay again.

Excellent location close to train and bus terminals. All the good Italian food shops are nearby. Staff is very friendly particularly the guy on the main reception. Saif is very nice person but area around property at night time is full of homeless people but that is not an issue property is cleaned immaculately every day rooms are linens and everything is changed. Breakfast is really good and Jim is small but it serves the purpose.

The area around the hotel can be a bit sketchy. Keep in mind it is extremely close to the main train station. One of our rooms had a shower that had water backing up into the bathroom. Check in was a bit slow but understandable as a large group of students check out late unexpectedly.

We booked 2 different hotels in Rome both near the Termini before and after a cruise and while the other hotel had much better reviews on Expedia - we thought Gioberti was the BETTER hotel. It was EXCELLENT can’t beat the location to Termini - literally across the street. And yes the are has grafiti but was completely safe. The rooms at Gioberti were HUGE with excellent AC in the room which was ready at 1pm and we took an hour Power Nap on first jet lag day and the room was soooo comfortable. Breakfast was good and the elevator was larger than the other hotel we booked. This is a solid hotel.

Clean and convenient location. However, the neighborhood looks unsafe with so many homeless people around. Noisy at night, you can hear people screaming in the streets.
