Couple of days away

We were very warmly welcomed and taken to room. It was a large room, comfortable bed and plenty of space to put everything, and that and en-suite was very clean. Table service at breakfast and nothing was a bother. Very good value.

Accommodation excellent, Tony has thought of everything. Lots of extras in the room, very clean and smelt beautiful. Fresh flowers, chocolates, toiletries and more added to our stay. Nothing too much trouble for him. TV didn’t work, but didn’t bother us too much. Doggy smell in hallway and stairs. Breakfast disappointing, had to go to another hotel 3 doors up the road. Full English just warm. Choices poor, need more fruit, yoghurt, pastries. All staff very friendly and happy to help.

Quality and Value

Blackpool B&B's can be a nightmare - you know what you are getting if you stay at a Hilton etc. With owner operated B&B's it can be a gamble - The Seacroft was a really pleasant suprise - tasteful, simple, clean, warm, well kept and with nice personal touches - enough milk tubs to make more than two cups of coffee ( I hate those little tubs of milk that are just a waste of the world resources but every hotel and B&B seems to use them), very white towels, a usuable iron and ironing board in the room. I really cant fault the weekend ( I can't comment on the breakfast as didn't manage to get out of bed until 12.00). One more quick observation - The Seacroft is a very calm place to stay, as I mentioned its tasteful and clean, it feels very professional. It dosent suffer from some other B&B owner's over the top personalisation, for example, its not full of grubby soft toys, plastic flower arrangements, Elvis portraits, the owners travel snaps from around the world or Irish/Scottish/Gay/Football 'things' etc which always makes me feel that I am invading their home rather than staying at a guest house.

Room was fantastic, had everything you would want it to have including a fan which was needed in the weather but the room was airy and comfortable. Great place to relax, comfy couch and massive tv. Hosts were friendly. Would definitely book again if in Blackpool.

Our stay was great, the hosts could not have been more welcoming. We stayed in Room 3 a first floor room which was extremely spacious and bright. It was spotlessly clean and was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend it.

The property and room was lovely. Clean, warm, comfortable and quiet. Really handy to have a little fridge in the room too. The hosts Mick and Eddie were very welcoming and happy to help with any issues and gave good advice about where to visit nearby. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Convenient location, very good service

Extremely convenient for the station. Decent room with ensuite, comfortable bed. Bathroom extractor fan was really loud, and you can hear noises from other rooms at times, but that's typical of pretty much all places like this in Blackpool. Very friendly and helpful service.

A great stay

The rooms were lovely, very spacious, well equipped and clean. The hosts were very friendly and asked if there was anything additional we needed to just ask. Well stocked supply of tea, coffee, hot choc, green tea and herbal tea as well as biscuits and Ferrero Roche Breakfast was delicious in the Mardi Gras b&b 3 doors away. Cereals, fruit, yoghurts, toast and full English. As well as fruit juices and tea and coffee. 5 mins away from Winter Gardens which was perfect for us.
