Fair stay

The room was not very clean. Tater tots by fridge and something inside of fridge. Bathroom sink drained very slowly. Room keys were not working well to open door and had them rekeyed and still had a hard time getting into the room.

Raw sewage smell the entire stay

Was awful it smelt like raw sewage. They did not have wash clothes they were on back order furniture the only furniture a small love seat in a king suit was dirty only one lamp I was very disappointed the only thing that was good was the front desk person he was very polite and professional. Hotel was AWEFUL dirty and the smell was the worst. Had to go get spray from Walmart to try to cover the smell that did not work, not to mention the flag that was flying was in several ripped pieces. What a shame. Then my daughter left things behind so we called rite away asking someone to put these things away and we would be back to get them and we did and they're was nothing when we went back to collect the items left in the room. I brought my concerns to the front desk attendant and was not even offered any kind of compensation would not recommend staying here. It used to be a nice clean place.

Hotel. Rooms Great! Shower pressure worst ever

Room spacious and clean, Beds Great. TV pretty small for quality of this Hotel but the thing that was not even close to acceptable was the water pressure in the shower. It wasn't only poor, it was a trickle at best!!!!! How does one adequately clean up before a doctors appointment? Absolutely ruined the stay. I mentioned at the checkout desk politely and got a mediocre "Sorry about that!" NOT SORRY! DO SOMETHING about it! Goodness you would think a Hotel of this reputation and fairly substantial price would afford a decent shower> The handicap bathroom was perfectly set up for severe handicap people but how disappointing to not be able to shower !!!! Please spend a little income and get some water pressure. Showers are equally important to me as is a good bed. I sure hope they do something but I suppose it will get brushed away and continue as usual. I'm sorry to say I will not return to this Hotel unless I get a better answer than "Sorry about that!"

Great Place to Stay!

The stay was comfortable and enjoyable! The front desk clerk was VERY WELCOMING. We stay here when we have to fly out early in the morning rather than driving 90 miles from where we live to the airport on flight day.

Mediocre.

Cleaner & nicer than most places in town, but in a couple years, it’s going to be like many of the others if they don’t step it up and clean and take care of the place, better. Walls and beds have quite a few scuffs, seals in bathroom walk-in showers are gross. Carpets are starting to bunch up. Pool area needs a good cleaning. Had someone open our door at 7am. Thankfully I had the safety lock on. I told the front desk it was a bit unnerving because I had a young teenage daughter in there. All we got was a sorry that happened.

The room was sub-par due to worn out and dirty carpeting. There was little to no decor which made the room look cheap…and this place wasn’t cheap. The beds were made up strangely and the heater/AC unit was inefficient. The breakfast area seemed to be done for the day even tho I was there before the deadline. I expect more from a Wingate.

I arrived at the property around 10pm. There was a note on the front desk saying “Helping another guest, will be back shortly.” Waited and waited for someone to come. I was calling sale manages numbers on business cards I found at the front desk, No Answer! I called the main property hotline just to be told they can’t refund my money because I booked through Expedia! Finally the worker shows up over an hour later, saying he had an emergency. Finally get to my room and I always check the beds. Sure enough the sheets had crumbs and a piece of hair on the sheets. Ask to switch rooms. I had to be up at 5am and so after all that I probably missed out on almost 1 hr and 45 mins of sleep. Never will I ever stay there again!

Not safe for family.

Bed sheet had blood spots on it, unfortunately I didn’t notice until I woke up the next morning. Each bed had metal rods sticking out from underneath the bed because the frames were too big for the beds, and metal bed frame was broken in one corner with sharp metal hanging off. All of this made for a stressful evening as I had 3 crawling babies!
