This part of town of gorgeous, the restaurant downstairs amazing and the view from the balcony is awe inspiring. Very nice hotel. I lucked out and got a room with a balcony. Room and facilities were well thought out to accommodate a ski vacation. Room was very clean and housekeeping was excellent. Price was on the low end for Zermatt so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I would stay here again and would recommend it to a single or couple travelling for a ski vacation.

Zermatt is mainly closed in May. First thing hôtel told us. Could have been useful pre holiday information. Main complaint of resort was the constant noise of helicopters and building construction. Hotel Derby was open and very welcoming but walking trails also closed from village. Won’t return
