Good hotel in lower manhattan. The hallways a d elevators had a distinct bad Oder, maybe moldy or musty. Otherwise room clean and good, breakfast typical but good way to start long day in NYC. Immediate neighborhood is fine to get to china town, the Manhattan Bridge sits right over the top of hotel, you do hear occasional train, car noise, but very reasonable. Good location to hit Brooklyn or downtown areas.

We had a pleasant stay at this property. Since we checked-in on a weekday and our flight landed early, they were able to check-in us early, which was really appreciating. "Rhonda" was amazing as a front dest person. Other staff (I don't remember more names) members were also helpful. Rooms were clean, location of this property is also great, and complimentary breakfast had good options. Overall, this was a great place to stay and would like to come again.

Room had some maintenance issues, but they were mostly resolved. The TV came on, but remote would not work. We called maintenance and they came by. The remote worked, but we had to reboot (unplug and replug) the TV. We had to do that the next day too. The A/C was either too warm or too cold. We had a hard time getting it to a happy medium. Not sure why, but we fooled with it the 3 days we were there. Also, the elevators seemed to be slower than normal. Other than the maintenance issues, breakfast was good. Location was good for what we were doing. Front desk staff were all excellent.

I thought this hotel was in a great, safe location. All staff were friendly. Rooms were big, clean and beds were comfy. Plenty of storage space. Fast elevators and delicious continental breakfast. Powerful shower head. So much to do in neighborhoods just minutes away and within walking distance - South Seaport, Chinatown, Little Italy, SoHo, and the LES. So close to the Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridge. Major downside was the fish smell from the market. Even on the 6th floor, the smell was awful. The check-in area and hallways smelled bad. The smell was within the room. Thin walls, but luckily the crew Nextdoor to us went to be the same time as us.
