The hotel is attached to a major health centre in Winnipeg. If you are staying at the hotel for medical appointments it is an ideal place to stay. However the area is not the greatest and numerous security personnel and police are in and around the premises. The hotel rate was not inexpensive as we paid $533 for two nights (parking also extra at 15day/night). We had no problem getting a spot in the parking lot so that was a bonus. You are paying for the convenience to the medical centre and not the ambiance of a fancy hotel. Our room was nice with plenty of room and a comfy bed. however getting hot water was an issue. One night we had a cold shower and both days the water in the sink got luke warm at best. We ate breakfast at the restaurant twice - it was ok. The desk staff were helpful and room service was good.

The room was clean and comfortable. Convenient location by HSC hospital. More security could be provided to make guests feel safe. A lot of evacuees coming and going all hours of the day and night. It’s unfortunate that the hotel takes advantage of the location and charges an exorbitant amount of money. Also if you’re staying at HSC get the discount rate by reserving direct. Don’t use Expedia!
