Great location.
Very helpful staff and although the room was small it was clean and comfortable.air conditioning would have been a plus as it was a very warm summers night ,a small fan was in the room but noisy.
Breakfast in the morning was excellent and served by a friendly helpful gentleman.

Lovely place with good food
Lovely place. Warm welcome and good food. We stayed in one of the courtyard rooms. Lovely bedding and comfortable bed. Wet room was spacious however let down a little with mould around the bottom tile areas.
Saying that a very comfortable stay and we would return.

Fantastic staff. Great room with decor. Very comfortable bed. Only let down by a very dirty, previously used toilet brush.
Didn't get to try their food from their main menu as my partner was being very fussy and wanted pie and mash or sausages and mash and it wasn't an option on menu, but the breakfast was delicious.

Not close to the AF bases
Handy spot, little out of the way. There's another Bull Inn within the borough of Bury St Edmunds close to the air force bases that I thought I was booking, so beware if you're visiting military family.

OK but could be better.
Booked to stay on Sunday 24th August so arrived just before 2pm to drop off our bags before going out. Quite strict on the check-in time being 2pm so probably best not to arrive before. Decided to have Sunday lunch which was excellent, cannot fault the food or service. The room was a little small but well equipped and clean. The bed was not the most comfy though. Last orders on Sunday night was 9.30pm as well, which was a surprise. Considering the Sunday lunch we had enjoyed, Breakfast was disappointing with very little choice. Overall the stay was OK, the Sunday lunch being the highlight - but for the price I think it could do better.

I absolutely love the gardens and the surrounding village is charming. Really lovely to feel like you are in a quiet secluded spot that is surprisingly close to main routes and Bury St Edmunds. Woolpit is lovely and The Bull Inn was great.

Lovely stay with excellent fresh food.
Lovely village pub/restaurant.
Great service from front of house manager. Young man, very friendly and welcoming. Lovely evening meal, fair prices, fresh vegetables. Room clean, warm and cosy. Good shower and bathroom facilities. Outside, Iron stairs to room so just be aware. We would definitely stay again.

A country pub .
Woolpit is a I lovely little hamlet . No other eating places apart from a chip shop so we ate at the Bull .
We personally didn’t like the menu choice and found the cooked breakfast a bit greasy again little choice. No eggs Benedict, Omelettes etc on offer .
There was the usual cereal choices but only plain yogurt and no pastries. Bananas were badly bruised so overall we were a little disappointed.

One night stay. everything was clean and worked as it should. It’s a busy pub ( on a Friday) but the accommodation is in chalets just far enough away from the the pub for the noise not to be intrusive. Excellent breakfast Very happy would stay again

A star find
The Bull In was a very nice place to stay.
Staff friendly, great cooked breakfast.
Room very clean and welcoming.
Only slight thing was probably my fault, but I could not see any signage for where to book in, so went to the Bar which was very busy, but got sorted in the end. Happy days
