Highly recommend AGAINST staying near this “hotel”. Not only did the room stink and clearly dirty. They refuse to help you in any way by switching rooms or giving you your money back. Absolute thieves. Give people their money back if your rooms are going to be disgusting. Better yet, get off Expedia and shut your “hotel” down.

I had a wonderful stay in Al Smou Apartment Hotel. The location in Ajman is great, in the city center close to Lulu Hypermarket, there is a gym next door for only DH 10 daily, convenience stores, the beach is very near. It is not difficult to find, as only Ajman taxis are familiar to local location, just ask the taxi driver to give a call to the hotel and they will tell you him to get there. In any case, you can change the text when you arrive in Ajman and take a local taxi, but most of the time, it sill ne be necessary as the driver will inquire to local colleagues about the destination location. The location is safe. Mary at the reception desks welcomes you like a long term friend. Everything is very clean, spotless, there is even a washing machine in the room! The internet was very speedy. I come on a regular basis to Ajman for business and experienced a number of local hotels, now I found the right place and will keep coming back because what you get for the price is unbeatable in Ajman.

The people who worked there were very nice and competent but the property was dirty. There was bugs in the room, the property was moldy, walls are thin, you can hear everything from the hallway and other rooms.

The overall condition of the property was poor. Inside the room there was mold on the walls close to the AC area. We also asked for a crib which came broken; we had to call them to repair couple elements in the apartment that broke such as the bidet in the washroom which was leaking and then the sink which leaked under and all around the kitchen, and almost caused me to fall. Before leaving, the sink got also clogged, but we didn't bother telling them as we were checking out. The wifi stopped working multiple times, they had to come and change the router. I have to admit that the only thing that made the staying bearable is their customer service. They were always there to repair their mess or when there was no parking they would take my car keys and park the car for me. They were also very accommodating by allowing us to check-in and check-out from the property later.

Worst hotel I have been too .. room is not clean with smell, they dont do room service if you stay more than one night and you have to call them to clean your room every day, they dont give complementary water which will just cost them 1 dirham.. Only their service was fine and price

This hotel.Com site is not better one for the booking becausr whenever u book the room after finishing the booking the will ask you to put credit or debit card no for payment same time they will cut the amount and next time when you will arrive at the hotel the receptionist will ask you to pay the amount again. Liked nothing. Verg average location and facility. Bad part was the miscommunication about the facility. I specifically wanted a place with free parking and there is no parking available. Secondly, I booked for 4 people and later learned that bedding was available for 2 people only. Had to pay 50 dirhams per person per night additional, which was a surprise.

The Good: 1) Very attentive and helpful front desk staff. 2) Supermarket which is open all night, near the property. The Bad: 1) The room is cleaned once in two days. 2) The bell boy doesn't explain how to use the equipment in the room. I had to figure out things for myself.
