Great value accommodation

Check in was friendly and easy. As rooms go it was a double and a single bed with an ensuite which was ideal for my friend and I who were attending a live gig. It was comfortable enough and if another gig happens in Leicester then I would use Grafton House again as a room only option. We both agreed it was value for money at £51 split between us.

Great location, 5 minutes walk from train station and city centre. Decent sized room but facilities were lacking. No bedside table, desk or kettle. Toilet was a shared toilet and shower. Not a deal breaker for me but not everyone's choice. Anyone talking in their rooms or wandering about can be heard easily but overall probably would stay there again if I needed a cheap and accessible stay in Leicester

Room was clean and tidy, unfortunately the room I stayed in had no cold water, ie brushing teeth. There was no breakfast as it does not do food, there is no facilities for tea or coffee in the rooms but the manager is very pleasant and will make you tea or coffee, as often as required. I have difficulty walking but he was kind enough to carry my tea up to my room for me. Overall I enjoyed my stay.
