Great coffee for breakfast. Cook to order breakfast was amazing. Convenient location to La Fortuna, but quiet and away from all the activity there. Nice nature walk on the property and its a 6.minute drive to the La Fortuna waterfall. Definitely would stay again.

Loved the hotel Faro Arenal. The rooms were very clean. The breakfast was delicious. Check in and out were easy. The trail behind the hotel was great. We saw way more wildlife, anteater toucans lots of birds, than on the gjided mystico park trail. Highly recommend.

This place is a paradise! So much wildlife! The breakfast is amazing, made to order! The hiking trail is great and we saw several sloths within the hotel grounds. I feel very lucky to have stayed here! My only small complaint is that the mattress was not very comfortable. Otherwise, it's incredible! Close to town but in the peace and quiet of the jungle.

My wife, 21 year old daughter, her fried and I really enjoyed this place. Staff was super friendly, breakfast was not only convenient but delicious and included with the stay. We saw sloths, hummingbirds, toucans and lots of other birds right on the property. It’s located a little out of the main town but that added to the charm, being away from the hustle and bustle. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it.

It was a joy to stay two nights so near the volcano in such a beautiful place. The cabin was roomy, clean, and comfortable, the restaurant was excellent, and the grounds (including the "nature walk" in the jungle at the rear of the property) were spectacular. The owner and staff are great people too. I would recommend this place to anyone without hesitation.

It was a quaint no frills hotel perfectly situated in a quiet area near the town on fortuno. Breakfast was delicious. We were a 6 person family and fit comfortably in their six person suite. Would come again. Thanks for a great stay. Loved all the beautiful flowers and hummingbirds in the area.

The location was good because we had a car . It was nice and quiet except for when it rained and the rain would hit the roof which was made out of tin so it was very very loud and hard to sleep the first night. It was a beautiful location and grounds. We wanted to swim but didn’t know the hours of the pools and it kept raining so it ended up to be fine . I wish there was a list of info of when you get into the room . Like a welcome letter with all the info. The main guy was nice and helpful but it’s nice to be informed better . The chef was great . They serve breakfast is included but they had dinner for a fee but it was cheap and yummy. Overall is was a great place to stay.
