very nice hotel overall!! the staff were really helpful and sweet. there are quite a lot of choices for the breakfast as well. the only thing is that the amenities (shower head, tv, etc) are a little older but it's honestly not a big deal, they work pretty well!

It was a stay that worth the money. It's very close to the station, and you have a 24 hours carrefour right next to the hotel. Food drinks everything are accessible easily. As for the room condition, you can tell that its overall a hotel that run for many years. Beds, wardrobe, tv are all run down, and some of the towels have the bleach smell/weird odor. However, water pressure of the room was very good and room was big. It also comes with a free breakfast everyday.

Hotel was very run down and extremely noisy. It was reasonably clean. Unfortunately tour groups in hotel thought it was ok to leave the room doors open and all socialise right outside our door , which meant we got very little sleep as were very loud. Centrally located. 5 mins walk to the railway station and local bus station. Beds are firm but not rock hard like some Taiwan hotels. Breakfast is good. Has standard noodles and porridge. Toast is also available. Sopping centre next door with a Carrefour supermarket. Staff are courteous.

This is a very old property. The lift is small and old. The bath room is very small and the toilet is right in the front of the door. The WiFi is terrible, especially for iPhone (no signal at all). the location is convenient, but I will not recommend this hotel.

Centrally Located in Taichung

Location, Location, Location! Not the newest, fanciest or nicest of hotels but definitely the most convenient! Right next door to Taroko Mall which has everything - food court, Carrefour (kind of like Walmart but nicer), McDs, Starbucks, Daiso, movie theaters, lots of boutique shopping, etc. Also right across the street from Taichung Train Station. Numerous bus stops all around. All of the hotel staff were so nice, friendly and helpful. We were given breakfast buffet tickets for each morning of our stay and there was something for everyone to enjoy. The room decor and furniture were tired and dated but the bathroom and linens were clean.

Excellent location, just accross Taichung Station. Next to Taroko Mall, very convenient. And also about 8 minutes walk to Lalaport Mall. Room needs upgrade. Breakfast just ok, very little menu changes during 4 night of stay. AC very weak, maybe too old. So they gave us electric fan to use in the room, LOL.
