Lovely property in a quiet and relaxing area. Great starting point if going through the Ring of Kerry. Also a great spot to access lesser known parts. Irma was a great host and I highly recommend this BnB!

I really enjoyed my stay. Irma the landlady was very welcoming, and her help with where to go and how to get there each day, was invaluable. Breakfast was good.

Clean & comfortable B&B. Breakfast was delicious. Irma, the hostess, was darling. She had great suggestions for dining in town & places nearby to visit. Each morning she asked her guests where they were planning to visit, then she showed them on the map the best route to take & interesting points along the way.

Nice BnB close to Dingle

We stayed for 4 days at Fern Rock. Irma and her husband were very friendly. Helped us in every way they can. Room is very clean and serviced every day. Breakfast is very nice, too.

10/10 Exceptional

Comfortable, impeccably clean bed and breakfast close to the route of the Ring of Kerry, Killarney and Killorglin. The owner is friendly and knowledgeable and offers ideas about how best to spend the day, depending on what you'd like to do and, of course, the weather. The breakfast is excellent and choices of cooked breakfast are offered as well as cereals, toast, etc. Guests also have access to complementary tea, coffee and biscuits and also a lounge, so once back at the property you don't have to stay only in your room. There is ample parking for guests. I would strongly recommend this property if you are looking to stay somewhere quiet and also if it is your first time in the area and would benefit from guidance on how to make the most of your time there.

It was exactly as expected and simple. Would have preferred larger than single bed beside window on ground floor but fine and modest. Ex large breakfast & hot water. All good.

6/10 Good

Irma is a very nice hostess and the accomodation is at a beautiful and quiet location. Room with a view. Shower was all right for me. nice breakfast room. No luxury at all, dated '80 and a small room. Twin room, no privacy because guests pass close at your big window and - off course - look into your room. Had to close the curtains. You can hear the guests and the floor above clearly. Brochures in the room from years ago. Breakfast from 8.30, not earlier. Simple breakfast. No choise for cheese, yoghurt, fresh fruit etc. only if you ask for it. Maybe I am spoilt with Irish Farm B&B. Everything home made there, bread, marmalade, scones, pancakes, fresh fruit salad, fresh pressed orange juice, local cheeses etc.

8/10 Very good

The property is very well located to access the Dingle Peninsula, The ring of Kerry and Killarney. We arrived in Ireland via Rosslare and the drive over is relatively easy and quick using N72. You will receive a very warm welcome and your room will be clean and the bed comfortable. Our room had a lovely view over Dingle. There is a choice of breakfast starting with 'help yourself' cereals and juices. There is then a choice of a traditional cooked breakfast, salmon and scrambled eggs and a more basic 'vegetarian' option. The salmon was excellent, portions generous and whilst the 'cooked' breakfast was nice and fresh I think I might have expected some produce that was more obviously 'local' and 'artisan'. Ireland has some great bacon and sausage and I don't think that this was it...I could be wrong (hands up). It's the only improvement I would suggest...if it's properly local say it...I am middle class aren't I!. We received lots of very helpful advice both about local restaurants...the golf club has wonderful views and OK pub like food...and about travel around Kerry and Dingle especially about avoiding the tourist buses!! This is a great place to stay overall...genuinely I recommend it for your stay in the far South West.

SATISFAISANT

Accueil sympathique de la propriétaire. Attachée à faire partager ses connaissances de la région.B&B à l'écart de la route principale, au calme. Chambres propres. Seul bémol l'étroitesse de la salle de bain.

Ottimo b&b a conduzione famigliare. La proprietaria è molto gentile e disponibile nel fornire informazioni sulle principali località da visitare nella zona. Posto tranquillo, colazione abbondante. Consigliato
