The property is not maintained, 1 of the rooms smells like damp towel, which we didn’t use and kept the door closed to make sure the whole place don’t smell. The kitchen is good, location is good. The food at the restaurant is great and servers are nice. Wish they maintain the place better, perhaps changing the carpet will make it feel a little bit more homey and feel cleaner.

The room was clean and comfortable, but the true highlight was the restaurant. It’s set right on the creek with beautiful views and a peaceful, relaxing vibe. We loved sitting outside, enjoying delicious food while watching birds fly around — it felt magical. The menu had a great variety, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this lodge, especially to those looking for a charming place with a fantastic on-site restaurant near Sequoia.

Excellent location close to the entrance to Sequia. Rooms are on the smaller side, but very clean and equipped with everything you need. Friendly employees. Food and cocktails at the restaurant were very good. Reservations are requested. We ate there both nights of our stay. I could see parking being a little tight during the high season, due to the popularity of the restaurant, but we had no trouble at the end of April. Would definitely stay again
