Modern Conveniences with Rustic Charm

A wonderful accommodation we picked last minute. Staff was wonderful. The inn has modern ammenities with preserved historic charm. Continental breakfast was perfect - many options and the coffee was delicious.

Great place to stay

We had a great time at the Coonamessett. We were late arriving because of a delayed plane. We received a plea sent call asking us if everything was OK. That was just the start. How about house cleaning every day, in recent years I thought that was a thing of the past. Our room was big and spotless. The lounge and dinning were very good but pretty limited choices. Breakfast was good but nothing out of the ordinary.

Making the most of a bad thing!

Well it wasn’t an eventful summer get away but it was better than most! Winter or off season is our time to explore the Cspe and we were looking forward to it but the winter changed that this time. We left Western MA with high hopes only to find ourselves seeking shelter in the Inn! We lucked out though ad this place is quaint,quiet and had a tavern in house. We’d opted from r a comedy show and dinner as part of a ur stay and are so happy we did! Food st the tavern and a friendly bartender greeted us for lunch, our check in was smooth even though it wad delayed and we were on time for the buffet and show. Sunday we were forced to stay in but had brunch onsite and then spent the day resting and watching tv shows due to the weather. Sleet and heavy winds and then rain, but if you’ve got to deal with things like this why not at a place like The Coonamesett!

Great stay. We booked here for 1 night only, due to its proximity to the Port and am glad we did. The room was spacious and well appointed. We were very comfortable. The bathroom was nice though a bit small. My complaint is that the bathroom window is right in front of the parking lot and it would be great if they have privacy screen on the clear glass as extra for privacy.

The updated junior king suite we stayed in was spacious and well decorated. All the servers we encountered at the front desk and tavern we very friendly and helpful. It was nice having the tavern just a few steps away, food and drinks were very good. We would definitely return to the Coonamessett!

Great place to stay

Loved this place. The room and bed were both large, clean and comfortable. The restaurant on property (eli's tavern) was super convenient and the food was good. Breakfast in the morning was good too. Location was good, just down the road from main street with more shops and restaurants. Beaches nearby too. We would stay again and we would recommend staying here.

The facilities were very nice. However they had an event during our stay and the people who went to it took up every parking space even the one assigned to us in front of our unit. This is listed as a pet friendly hotel so we brought our dog for a 2 night stay. After leaving I received a call from the person at the front desk who was pretty rude. She told us that since we didn’t inform them of our dog staying we would incur a $250 fee. She said that we should have informed them because there are specific rooms that are pet friendly. Which is fine but we were never asked. In fact they came to clean our room after the first night and did not say anything even though we had water and food bowls out on the floor. My father had to get on the phone with the manager who was more understanding and only charged us $100. Make sure you tell them ahead of time about any pets.
