Best location for late night parties in Pattaya! Staff are wonderful and the rooms are clean. Comfortable beds, sea view rooms are stunning. About 20 meters away from walking street but when you are in room its quiet and easy to sleep. I have and will always stay here when i visit pattaya!

The staff is very well behaved, and supportive. They gave me 2 hour early check in without charge because I arrived early, and let me leave my bag there after while I was out shopping for a bit. Very reasonable and wonderful staff. Highly recommend!!

Great hotel right on Walking Street

The room I chose was the room with Seaview which was great. The air-conditioner in the room worked well as well as the refrigerator. They provided 2 free bottles of water every day. Bathroom was clean but shower was a tight fit, room for improvement in the lighting in the bathroom.

The location is great, but it is quite busy until 3am. Music can be heard until 6 in the morning. Walking street, pier, circulating cabs, massages, all in close proximity, no wonder! Wi-Fi is too slow, which needs to be improved.

Loud, No-Food 2-Star Priced Like 4-Star

Grand is a 2-star hotel priced like a 4-star. It's old. It's VERY loud and has a ridiculous food policy. But I had little choice but to stay there due to a nearby work obligation on Walking Street. For that, it was the ultimate in convenience. But you pay a price, not only in the relatively high pricetag, but in quality. You're on Walking Street. Bring earplugs to sleep. There are no quiet rooms. I rented a large family room because I wanted a microwave and kitchette facilities for a special diet. However, not only is there no microwave, there's no plates, forks, etc. And there's a sign by the elevator saying NO OUTSIDE FOOD ALLOWED. Why? The Grand's restaurant is permanently closed. It wasn't enforced strongly, however. The staff, as reviewed, is accommodating as much as they can be. Not effusively friendly, but not rude. The Family Room is spacious and 3-star comfortable. Shower: Water pressure passable but only 2 temps: Cold & scalding. Beware. The place is old, it shows in the corners and details, but, in a pinch, it's a place to stay. And I may again due to its location. But hopefully not.

I want to commend and thank the staff at Grand Hotel for a very enjoyable stay. The room was quite comfortable and adequate. And the housekeeping made sure I had everything I needed. The location, although noisy, is right by Walking Street where all the action and excitement is. There is even 2 laundry businesses less than 100 yards away. Also, thanks to the staff for having my phone that I forgot and had to return to get. Overall, a great hotel that really cares about their guests and one I truly recommend to those visiting Pattaya.
