Cozy place!

This really charming little hotel near the beach, and it was absolutely wonderful! The location is great, just a short stroll from the beach. The rooms were cozy, clean, and created a welcoming atmosphere. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The peaceful surroundings and the sound of the waves made it an incredibly relaxing getaway. We highly recommend this lovely place.

Property run by elderly couple, who are super friendly and accommodating. Rooms are excellent with spacing and amenities. Walking distance to Wharf. Check the conditions before booking with Wotif. Rooms are priced for 2 people and $25 us charged for extra person which was not clear stated by Wotif while booking. otherwise wonderful experience of staying here.

Nice setting, feels like a park. You can hear the ocean waves while sitting amongst the trees. Owner was helpful and offered suggestions for dining. Short walk into town was a surprise because it is literally just around the corner. The entrance to the property is a very steep hill and the parking is very tight, so if you can park and then walk everywhere, that’s a great option.

This property has a fantastic location close to all that the Bay of Islands has to offer. An older style complex that is good value for money, the units are comfortable and clean, and fully self-contained. This complex is a100m walk to the closest Paihia beach and a flat 10-minute walk to the main street and tourist wharf at Paihia.

Room was comfortable, location was very good. Bathroom could have a renovation, towels were a bit worn out. Limited wifi, which was a problem with the 4G network clogged. Good value for the money for New Years Eve, but you can find better in Paihia during the rest of the season

Perfectly situated

Very nicely situated a few metres from Paihia beach and 8 minutes walk fro the passenger ferry to Russell. Although hot weather, it was nice not to have aircon as the apartment was so well ventilated with fresh air.
