Surprising little place in a little town

Not the newest or most glamorous motel maybe, and the operator could use more humor in his life, but it's a surprisingly nice place and can't be beat for the price. Three of us stayed in one room on the way to see the eclipse. Fridge, microwave, cable TV, and a bath tub. All the regular conveniences.

Too close to major road. View just a dirty parking lot. No coffee in room. Breakfast just cereal and coffee was out both days I stayed. Constant leaf blower while I was there. Overall definitely needs to be updated.

The bed was nice. The hot water had to be turned on all the way to get a decent shower. Doors open out to the elements, which I consider unsafe. I should’ve chosen the Motel 6. It’s newer, nicer and just as inexpensive.
