Far too expensive. There are much better options in Amsterdam at a cheaper price. The bed was very uncomfortable - it wasn’t flat!! The bedroom was very cramped. The location is poor - it’s difficult to get into the centre by public transport. Guests have to pay extra to use the spa, which is very disappointing.

It’s disappointing spa access is no longer included, especially given the hotel is marketed as a wellness resort. That was the stand out feature and my reason for booking. Adding it in as an extra now substantially increases the price over a couple of days compared to previous years I’ve visited.

Quick Stop-Over

The saunas are amazing and awesome after travelling. Everything is very clean, comfortable and in great condition. Bike rentals with an easy ride to the train station area. The area is quiet if U want peace. Action is a quick Uber-ride away. Too many amenities to enjoy over just a few days! This is where I will always stay in Amsterdam!!!

Very transactional male receptionist. Robotic service. Superior rooms don’t have a proper heating system, just a hot ventilation, which was not working. We had to swap rooms, with no real apology. A lot of works around restaurant area for breakfast.w Poor value for money. Spa is good though

we were really dissapointed with this stay. The room was in a poor condition with stained carpets, a broken tap, and no basic amenities. We gave up on getting food at the restaurent in the spa and instead ordered takaway from uber eats, because there was just nobody coming to serve us after we asked repeatedly for menus and then to order. In response, the server was also very rude and not understanding at all. I would save your money and go to a better hotel, get the spa day pass if you want - the facilities (saunas, steam rooms, pool) were very satisfactory.

The hotel itself is excellent. Really nice rooms, easy access by bike, nice area and the best spa I've ever been in. My main issue was with the staff and costs not being very transparent. I arrived later than I planned (I'd cycled most of the day to get there) and when I asked the guy on reception whether I could use the spa the following morning as I wouldn't be able to spend much time there on the check-in day he kindly said "no problem, I'll add a note to your account". When I asked the person on reception the following morning if I needed to do anything different checking out she said there was no note and I'd have to pay a further €45 to use the spa. Which is a real shame as the spa is amazing but I could spend a further €45. I'm not sure which staff member was wrong but it was a bit disappointing. Also when I went to get slippers for the spa as there were none in my room no one said there was a charge for them, it was just added to the bill quietly. They should have been more upfront about this. All that said, the hotel itself is really nice so you'll definitely have a comfortable stay. And the spa is incredible, easily the best I've ever visited. I just wish I could have spent more than an hour using it.

Ich war nach 2023 nun zum zweiten Mal im Jahr 2025 dort – und leider muss ich sagen, dass ich diesmal sehr enttäuscht bin. Es wird daher wohl auch mein letzter Besuch gewesen sein. Ich hatte ein Zimmer im Hauptgebäude mit Blick auf den großen Parkplatz. Was mir besonders negativ aufgefallen ist, war die Tatsache, dass der Wellnessbereich mittlerweile nur noch gegen eine zusätzliche Gebühr von 30 € pro Tag genutzt werden darf. Auf den Buchungsportalen wird das nirgends erwähnt – hier sollte die Marketingabteilung dringend für Transparenz sorgen. Andernfalls wirkt das auf Gäste schlicht wie eine Abzocke. Als wäre das nicht genug, verlangt man zusätzlich 12 € für einfache Slipper, falls man keine eigenen dabei hat. Wenn das eingenommene Geld wenigstens in eine Modernisierung des Hotels fließen würde, könnte man das ja noch nachvollziehen. Stattdessen ist die Isolierung der Zimmer weiterhin katastrophal – man hört jedes Gespräch draußen am Fenster und jeden Schritt anderer Gäste im Flur, als wäre man in einem Gebäude aus den 1950er Jahren.

Das Hotel ist wirklich gut und Gross... Riesen Wellness.. Schlecht ist das der Parkplatz ca. 25 Euro pro Tag kostet.. Und das Wellness pro Tag und Gast nochmals 30Euro.. Das sollte dabei sein bei den Zimmerpreisen oder offener Kommuniziert werden vor Buchung...
