打开门房间会有一股刺鼻的味道，应该是潮湿不通风造成的，浴室没有窗或抽风，我们打开房门吹了半个小时就好多了。 除此之外都还不错。

There is no elevator, just stairs. The doors have a deadbolt, but not a chain or door lock mechanism for added security. This is not ok in this day and age, especially since the rooms open to the outside. The road was extremely noisy with cars racing up and down the street so our second night there, I hardly slept. The owner and his wife were very nice, even when we arrived after flying in at midnight.

Cheap & Cheerful

The pros: Great price and close to Old Town, Downtown, University area and Bio Park. Very clean and the staff was friendly and kind. The cons: Being right on historic Route 66, you get more than your fair share of people with loud cars and bikes revving engines at all hours. This isn't the hotels fault - you'd probably have this problem at any of the old motels on the strip. But if you're a light sleeper, it's something to consider. The fixtures are a bit dated, the AC was pretty loud. The bed was reasonably comfortable. For the price, this is a great spot. I spent 3 nights here and would come back.

The room was nice and clean. My only concern was the amount of traffic on a Friday night (more like early Saturday morning) made it very difficult to sleep if at all. Appears to be a popular spot for drag racing at the stop light in front of the motel or at least was for our stay. I'm not a city person so maybe this is normal for the area.

This is an older motel offering basic services. It was extremely clean. The fixtures are a little worn, but very adequate. breakfast area was clean and supplied with basics including waffles. The staff was friendly. It is all I needed for a sleep,shower and breakfast on my journey It was extremely clean. Some fixtures were somewhat worn.

Do not recommend.

When checked in was told as we were 2 night no room service offered. Went to room, 2 towels. 2 washclothes, 2 hand towels. All towels old. Rough like fine sand paper. Only half toilet paper on roller, went to drsk asked for more. Was told maids were out on property, 2nd floor, ho ask them. Property looks nothing like website. Checking out, could not find anyone, sign to put card in basket on counter. Loud speeding cars durinh night in street in front.

Overall, it was a good experience and stay. There were a few noticeable things that were not of great concern, however, would like to include for those who rely on the reviews of others to make the best decision for where they want to spend their time and money. The property will hopefully receive an upgrade to the exterior in the near future, however, my room looked clean and was the cleanest room I’ve stayed in thus far. The shower head in my room needed repair, as water would end up on the floor even while doing my best to prevent this with the shower curtain. (I did bring this to the attention of the *Staff member on site). My bed frame was very squeaky. (I mentioned this to the *Staff member on site.) The breakfast offered in my opinion was ok. The bananas offered during my stay were never ripe. Occasionally, I could hear voices and sounds through the walls. If you are a light sleeper, the traffic noise may be an issue. The laundry room was easy to access and use. There were clean sheets belonging to the property sprawled over the machines during my stay. The Staff (including the *Property Manager) were friendly and helpful as needed. There are plenty of decent eateries and shops nearby. You can also utilize the FREE bus service (bus stops are a short walking distance) to get around town. The people of Albuquerque who I encountered were both kind and friendly.

Slightly disappointing.

We arrived to find that the indoor pool was being cleaned and would be out of action. This was disappointing and if we'd known we would NOT have booked the 2 night stay. Lesson learned to check before booking a hotel because of an amenity. Then the first night we found ourselves next to a noisy, inconsiderate guest who kept us from having a good night's sleep. Apart from that, the hotel was good, clean and comfortable. Our advice is stay here, but check that the pool will be open, and ask to NOT be given a room next to one of their regular guests who leave their room every half hour for a cigarette (slamming their door no matter what time of night)!

Won’t stay here again

The property is very run down and out dated. The reason for closing this hotel was for the in room jacuzzi which ended up being a large bath tub, the jets didn’t work very well. The chair in the room was broken, missing a wheel, which I didn’t realize until I sat on it. Inside and out the hotel needs attention. When it came time to check out there was no one available at the front desk to speak with regarding the issues in the room or to get my receipt.

The place was fine for a night, but much of the property, furniture and decor is old, tired, torn or in need of a refresh: the heater was loud and woke us throughout the night; the bathroom fan rattled; the bed creaked loudly every time we got up; the bed topper was torn; the bathroom shower head leaked. The most disappointing part of our stay was the unkempt, unorthodox breakfast room and the way the breakfast was offered: a large container of peanut butter and jelly were placed out with a single metal butter knife; a gallon of whole milk sitting in the fridge whether for cereal or coffee. While fine for a family, a communal setting like a hotel needs attention to health standards and safeguards--it left me not wanting to eat. Choices were also limited, including no alternative but whole milk. Ultimately, I was surprised this was billed as a Howard Johnsons.
