El sitio del comedor muy acogedor , las cabañas son bien rusticas pero está acorde con el lugar, acorde con la naturaleza del lugar. Esta muy cerca de la playa, la comida es muy rica. Not a nice place

Staying at this place ruined a wonderful family weekend. -Photos are misleading, pool is very small and dirty -Room was not clean and full of insects. A large spider was crawling near my 6 year old. -Shower tub was not clean, had sand from previous guests. -No A/C -No soap in the bathroom, just one (almost empty) roll of toilet paper -Free breakfast was a joke. One small egg, one piece of toast, horrible coffee. Fruit was ok. -They let dogs and cats roam around free in the dining area while having breakfast. A cat jumped on our table. My wife is very allergic to cats and that caused a bad allergic reaction. -They ask guests to take their shoes off to enter the dining area which is fine, but the floor was filthy. My feet got dirty from walking on that floor. Yes, same area where dogs and cats roam free. -To top it off, way overpriced for the area and for what they offer. I can't post rates but this place is twice as much as other places with better amenities.

A sleepy little town

A great place to stay but not for anyone who does not like climing as all the cabins are on a hill with an awesome view. To walk to the breakfast which was fabulous one has to climb steps. The restaurant has a beautiful view also.

Very unique hotel

This hotel is not for the faint of heart! The place is not easy to find, the trail you drive on makes a small car drag bottom! Once you rattle you and your car there then you have to find the hotel in the trees, up quite a few stairs and you arrive at the office, restaurant and sitting area. A very friendly proprietor awaits you and is very gracious host! The rates are great and I quite enjoyed the cuisine. Back down all the steps,down the road a bit and one of half a dozen cabins await you carved into the hillside above you, a breath taking view awaits you. Nice interiors, mine had quite a sewer smell when showering. My friends really smelled of mold and wasn’t as nice as my room. The mattresses are hard and not to my liking. Overall a neet place to spend a night.

Fina Punta Ayampe is simple hotel very close to the beach, you can see it from your room and it's 5 minutes walk. I would recommend it for families, as it has friendly atmosphere and welcoming staff. Breakfast and dinner is served in open dining room with fire place and several dogs and cats.

If you are looking for a tropical paradise on a mid range backpackers budget then this is your place! Located in Ayampe a low key, quite town, you just go down the road towards the beach and take a left. Even though it is all the way at the end of the road/town, it's still an easy walk. With a lot of bags and tired from travel, you can also take a taxi from bus drop off, $1.50. The owner and staff are fantastic and will do what ever they can to make you feel welcome. Breakfast is included and they do have dinners, drinks etc available. Be aware there are a lot of steps but without them you wouldn't have such wonderful views!

Relaxing Idyll in Ayampe (Not Handicap Accessible)

Wonderful place overlooking the beach. It was great to fall asleep each night to the sound of the ocean. We stayed in a cabaña - essentially a cabin. It was rustic, but there was a bathroom with shower and a ceiling fan (plus a hammock on the porch with a great view of the ocean). Sort of a "glamping" experience. The little infinity pool was nice as well. In the main house, the breakfasts were huge, fresh, and tasty. We also ordered dinner one night and it was delicious (also huge). Great, friendly service. ***PLEASE NOTE***: We had to climb A LOT of stairs to get to our place. If you require handicap accessibility, you should probably look elsewhere.
